To see your only competitor in the world as the person in the mirror, is healthy. A Boogie wit da Hoodie has amassed platinum plaques because of his melodic flow and bars that are easy to sing along to.

He has carved a niche for himself as a singer/rapper and has become a part of rap’s repertoire since at least Ye’s 808’s and Heartbreak. A Boogie doesn’t see any problem with having a sing-song approach to making music.

He doesn’t compare himself to anyone. As a first-handed artist, he concerns himself only with what is on his plate. This rationally selfish disposition gives him the opportunity to compare himself towards himself, not anyone else.

What A Boogie can do for up-and-coming acts is to say they can just realize their own potential as opposed to besting others as the prize. He works smart in order to further prolong his superstar success.

When he emerged from the Bronx, he had it in his mind to call himself the “King of New York.” Now. he says this coyly, but there is absolute truth to it. He started with just a few songs making the Top 40 on the music charts. He then expanded to releasing albums that made the Top 10 on the Billboard charts.

As he navigates the murky waters of the rap game, Boogie ought to just focus on creating more music and opportunities for his support system. He’s not looking for an opponent, but a collaborator. That “beast,” he says, “that’s in the studio 24/7” is what he is on the hunt for at the moment.

This hyperbole aside, his intentions are noteworthy. He doesn’t care what other people are doing going back and forth in spats and tiffs. He’s focused on finding the musical match that will send his talents soaring.

Boogie is unabashed in his ability to bring quality to the house of hip hop. He knows better to keep his mind trained on releasing the kind of sounds that will be around. In this age of disposable heroes, he will always be a valiant knight on the vanguard for originality and truth.

With all of the hoopla over beef and tension, A Boogie has chosen to blaze a trail with his wit and pen. As he writes amazing songs, performs at packed crowds, he is showing he can be a leader amongst men.

When he founded his own imprint, Highbridge the Label, he made a statement to the world he would be more than an artist. As a businessman, he has positioned himself to be one of the foremost figures in music. From the way he deals with other artists already established in the game, to the newbies finding their way in the industry, he carries with him the acumen to be a savvy entrepreneur.

That is what is hardly discussed. As long as the commercial side is respected and prized, then the artist can enjoy their time in the process of making art. A Boogie understands how the business of music is of absolute importance over just signing a deal, and posting whatever is of the moment.

The future is what Boogie is concerned with now. Yes, he’s a veteran, but he’s not stuck on stupid. His intelligence should be upheld as the origin of his excellent placement within the genre.

Boogie can be his own best asset if he keeps his focus on the business whenever he’s wearing his artist’s cap. If he takes the money, he’ll be able to produce as much material as he possibly can. That’s the way for him to keep his crown shiny.
