11 BBNaija Housemates Who Pursued Music After the House

Big Brother Naija is by far the biggest reality competition television show in Nigeria. It's viewed daily by hundreds of thousands of people all over the world and an appearance on the show leads to overnight fame and if you're lucky and play your cards right, success and riches that extend far beyond the show's time period.

Some people go unto the show to promote already existing skills like acting, modeling, business, etc. while some others because of the show's platform find something they're good at to do to bring in money after the show.

One viable way people have tried their hand at doing is music. For a number of Big Brother Naija housemates, after leaving the Big Brother House, they dabbled into music. Here are 11 of such housemates.

1. Laycon

Winner of the most recent season of the show, Big Brother Naija Lockdown, Laycon entered into the Big Brother house with a music career already underway and upon winning the show and leaving the house, he has kept the music going and is finding success in it.

2. Efe

Big Brother Naija 2017 winner, Efe throughout his time on the show and after touted loudly about how he will pursue music and never not do music, but despite his eagerness and passion, Efe did not find a lot of success from his musical career.

3. Uriel

Uriel who is popularly referred to as Uriel Music Star is indeed a musician. Before coming on the show, she was in a 3-person music group called Caku Republik and beyond that she has also made solo music.

4. Trikytee

Another Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate who does music is housemate Trikytee. Before his time on the show Trikytee put out music and even after the show, he kept it going and has released freestyles and singles since.

5. Marvis

During her time on the show, housemate Marvis spoke about how she was a musician and hoped that her time on the show would help kickstart her musical career. Unfortunately, her music hasn't taken off since her time on the show.

6. Teddy A

Another housemate who dabbled in music before and after his appearance on the show is actor and model Teddy A. Teddy A released a number of singles with music videos before his time on the show and released some more even after his time on the show.

7. Bisola

Beloved Big Brother housemate Bisola during her time on the show showcased the breadth of her gifts showing us that she is not only a talented actress, but she's also a good host and singer. After the show, Bisola ventured into music alongside her acting career and found mild success in that venture.

8. Coco Ice

Coco Ice is yet another Big Brother housemate who hoped that the show will open doors for her musical career. Unfortunately Coco Ice's music career hasn't kicked off.

9. Vee

Big Brother Naija housemate Vee declared herself a singer as soon as she made her way into the Big Brother house and is positioning herself as such in the industry. Shortly after her time on the show, Vee put out a song and is focusing on creating her body of work right now.

10&11. Tacha & Omashola

After their fight on their season, music producer Lord Sky made a song out of Tacha and Omashola's drama. They even produced an accompanying music video for the song titled 'Chiwawa'
