Father Dearest; Friend or Foe?
I sit here on my kitchen table, scrambling through my mind across a slide deck of memories left by a man, biologically referred to as 'my father'. Who is this man? Sadly, I don't know at present who he is due to the fact that we left him when I was so young, but my flashbacks are vivid and full of colour, enough to paint an image of him so visceral in my mind's eye.

My breath quickened with each fumbling step among the jagged boulders. Each satisfying crunch underneath the soles of my boots urged me on further. After an afternoon’s worth of perseverance, I had finally reached the pinnacle of the mountain, and my goodness was the sight in front of me a treat!

The Dilemma
My breath quickened as hot beads of warm sweat trickled down my temple. My face, the warmth, I could feel it on the apples of my cheeks and all across my nape. Fingers trembling, 'Cairo' and I decided to work as a pair to hurriedly escape underground from the bank safe. Time was a thief, like us, running into an abyss of its unknown fate and what was to come.

I love my job because...
I love my job because it inspires me so much. I work for a leader in telecommunications with offices in over 150 countries. It truly is a highly valuable company, at the epitome of our digital age. If I were to metaphorise, I’d say my function is that of a pixel in a digitised image. Small but vital.
