Water
The creation story is described in the Laas zii scriptures. Of course, this is paraphrased... A vast echoing chasm of nothingness, only the sounds of rushing water and the force of nature. Through the stars travelled Laas Jun (meaning "life king"), a raging river teeming with life! Inside Laas Jun, fish thrived, the only inhabitants among the stars.

Wick
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. Bleak wooden walls stand tall towards the ceiling. The window was frosted over. The candle was depleted, only lit at its base. A sound of wailing crawled through the rotting walls and out into the open night air. A shutter rolls over my body. "It's just the cold," a whisper meant to ease me from this horrible nightmare.

Water
Water. Water is the essence of life; it controls who lives and who dies; it controls who gets rich and who gets starved. In a way, if you possessed the water, you would control life itself, and that is a weapon of its own. You don't need a spear; you don't need a sword. All you need is a way to control the essence of life. So as I watched the guards of the red poison flower put a rag over my dad's face and pour water down his throat, I realized who controlled the water.

Dad
I remember a day when my friends were over during the summer. My father was outside doing the work I said I would help with. scratch that... Actually, it was the work We said we would help with. I'm sure my dad was furious as we had not been working too well. We spent most of our time talking and something that should have taken a few hours, had probably taken us half the day. I do apologize for that.

The green valley
There weren't always dragons in the valley. What now feels like millennia ago this land was green and good. But now a great fog lingers here in the valley, and with the fog came dragons. Fierce and old, magnificent beasts from another era lay waste to the valley and its people. Today the leaders of the four tribes gather at the base of the great lights.
