It was a sunny day
It was a sunny day. The old man packed up his fishing gear early in the morning and prepared to set out. He had only gruel when he left, but that was enough for him. The old man went out of his house, looked into the warm sun and prayed, "God! Please help me return home today!" Then he sat down in his shabby boat and sailed against the waves. At noon, the weather suddenly changed. The sky was dark and cloudy, and the wind was howling on the sea. The big waves hit the old man's boat again and again. The storm lasted all afternoon, and by the time it was over, night had fallen and the old man was adrift in the middle of the sea, looking around without a light. He took the matchbox from his pocket, but it was already wet with water. The old man was cold and hungry, and his years of experience had taught him that if he kept calm and persevered, he could avoid death.
