Dependence and Independence
I frequently find myself struggling between wanting my independence and wanting dependence, too. It is my belief that we need a healthy balance of both. I want someone I can depend on. Repeating the Pattern
Ever think about why we repeat the same patterns in our lives over and over again? Why does the alcoholic continue to drink after three DUI convictions? What exactly is true love? Is it open to interpretation by each individual or is there only one definite definition for true love? There are of course many different types of love such as friendship love, romantic love, agape love, Eros, and the love you have for your family. Love is something I seek out, fall into, and fall out of.
