In LA, winter ends pretty much as soon as it starts since its sunny and almost 80 in February right now. However, I know in most other parts of the world, seasons are a bit more…real. That being said, I know my friends on the East Coast are itching for a tropical vacation trying to avoid the cold so I put together my top tips for how I prep for a tropical vacation coming off of my recent trip to Cabo – here’s some pointers on things that I did do or like to do before I hit a tropical destination!
This one might be a little taboo because nobody likes to talk about the tricky parts of traveling – difficult airlines, delays, etc. aside. Hear me out – girls’ trips are amazing BUT sometimes, they can turn into absolute chaos. We’ve all been there – a beautiful trip planned with your best friends and then *BAM* the drama tornado comes crashing in and rains on your parade. I went to Cabo with four girlfriends a few weeks ago and we realized that we had successfully pulled off a girls’ trip that had zero drama, fights, pettiness, cattiness, etc. I got a DM on Instagram asking if it was only “picture perfect” on the ‘gram and if not, how we pulled it off so, I wanted to share with you how we went about planning the trip as well as how the trip itself went off without a hitch.
I’ve seen a meme going around lately that jokes about perfect skin being wasted on children and MAN is that the truth! It seems like every day there is a new skin condition that pops up in attempt to strike down our dreams of clear, youthful skin. I like to consider myself a bit of a human guinea pig, so I’ve tried my fair share of skincare products, treatments, etc. in attempt to get perfect skin as well as go after any issue I’m having on my face at the time. My main concerns are typically breakouts, oiliness and then I’m a huge proponent of anti-aging at any age so being preventative on that front is my jam.
