WHY DO CAPYBARAS HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH CROCODILES
Capybaras are large rodents native to South America. They are the largest species of rodent in the world, weighing up to 140 pounds and reaching lengths of up to four feet. Capybaras are semi-aquatic animals, living in and around bodies of water such as rivers, ponds, and lakes. They are herbivores, eating grasses, aquatic plants, and fruits. Capybaras belong to the family Caviidae, which includes other South American rodents such as guinea pigs and chinchillas.
