The Other Side of Astrology
I'm a 'spiritual hipster,' so I obviously believe in horoscopes. Do I have Co-Star? Yes... Do I know more than just my sun sign? Yes... But do I actually have a significant understanding of Astrology? No! Although, here at Velvet Aura, we've primarily been focusing on Tarot and Crystals, we don't want to be limited to those subjects - we want to talk about all things spiritual... so lets get talking!

Crystals: What You Don't Know
Right, grab your notebook and pen because we're about to take you back to the classroom. Well... not really (because quarantine) BUT we are going to teach you a lesson about crystals. These bad boys are EVERYWHERE, and you might already own some, either for the aesthetic or because of their power. Either way, we're going to teach you some facts that you may not know, as well as remind you of the qualities of crystals that you probably already do know (like a revision lesson! see, school can be fun).

It's the Turn-Around 20's
I don't know about you but I'm getting that feeling that the attitude of the 90's are creeping back in... at least to the UK. I'm not talking so much about the excessive drug usage or 3-day benders... even though that's gotta take some type of strength that is commendable (perhaps not the type that we're trying to channel nowadays, but it's still something to look at in awe and say 'damn Universe, that's a hella lot of energy'). I'm talking more about the character, the mind-set, the approach to things that the youth of the 90's would have. The general character of the decade was so juicy and big, you feel as if you'd be on a huge sugar high from it that lasts years. Their uniqueness of everyone's personalities really stood out, and that's what I feel is going to come back.

Velvet Aura
This is the New Now Age. Not sure about you, but we're pretty tired of all spiritual practises being considered 'hippy,' 'boho,' 'unnecessary.' A lot of platforms for crystal shops, tarot readings, yoga & meditation routines, and more, all seem to have a similar marketing approach: colourful yet minimal, wild yet peaceful, rejuvenated but mature. All those things are fabulous and we definitely like the sound of them, but here, the Velvet Aura team are a bunch of gals from London... we definitely have a bit more of an edge within us.
