Would you Rather
Derek fiddles a small black box in his hand, looking off into space in deep thought. He let's out a small sigh of stress as he takes the ring box and tucks it inside his coat pocket. He proceeds to pull out his cell phone out of his back pocket of his slacks and dials his friend Tony. The phone rings three times before Tony answers. " What up bro" Tony greets Derek. " Hey T did you get that reservation for me?" Derek inquires. " Yup, you are set for dinner for 2 at Landry's 7pm." Tony hesitates " Bro you sure you ready for this next level of commitment?" Derek let's out a small laugh " absolutely bro, Laura is the one, I know it. She has been down for 4 years with me, thick and thin" " I can dig it, but what about Shana?" Tony asks " What about her?" Derek rebuttals. " How you think Shana gonna take you tying the knot with Laura?" "I don't think T. Shana isn't a factor anymore, I have moved on. The only thing that keeps me and Shana in each others lives is our son. " Derek says. " So ya'll are done done? " Tony questions " Yea man" Derek quickly answers now getting frustrated with Tony's continuous questions. " So we gonna act like you wasn't just rubbing skins last month with her?" Tony instigates. " First of all that was three months ago, and she caught me off guard, talking about DJ asked to see me... yea right she just wanted this dick. That doesn't change the fact of how I feel about Laura." Derek replies. "So you mean to tell me that you won't 'accidentally' slip up in it again" Tony pushes back. "Naw, that's over and done with... can we drop this now? You are throwing me off my game here. Actually, I gotta go back in the house anyway to get DJ ready to go with his mama in a bit, I'll hit you up later." "Okay bro, I don't mean no harm, I am just looking out for you." Tony says trying to reassure his friend. Derek hangs up the call with no response to Tony.

JusB media was also on the scene doing interviews on the red carpet of all the attendees and catching great moments of the evening. Last but certainly not least, the Sunday Dinner meal was finger lickin' good with the choice of fried chicken or fried fish, cheesy baked mac n cheese, outta this world collard greens, and pie worthy candied yams that had everyone looking for seconds.

Never have I ever
With red puffy eyes filled with a nights worth of tears, Jasmine lifts herself out of her bed. She walks over to her dresser and grabs a tissue from its box to blow her nose. Jasmine tosses the soiled tissue into a nearby trash, and goes to grab her laptop from the corner of her dresser. She slides back into her cocoon of sadness, under the warmth of her bed sheets, she opens up her laptop. Jasmine logs into her social media to see a post of her Husband Micah. He wore a big toothy grin in his photo, and underneath it read "Only going up from here #positive vibes only #team success". Her heart fills with resentment as she stares at her husband's happy photo. She logs off, trying to fight back the tears from falling. Jasmine throws her head back, trying to keep her tears within the small creases of her eyes. " I got to let this out" she says to herself. Never Have I Ever
Entering the mind "Case number 9352672-1, Gracie Walters, Age 32; Gracie are you present?" The counselor says over a tape recorder. Gracie stares off into the plain white ceiling above her "I am present ma'am", she begins to say "been present the whole time... It was his narcissistic ass that wasn't present. He acted like I didn't exist". Gracie continues to stare off into space. "Mrs. Walters did..." Gracie cuts off the counselor for correction " It's Ms. Walters, Walters is my maiden name. " My apologies MISS Walters" The counselor says sarcastically. "Did you and your husband ever attend marriage counseling, in the time you were together?" Without moving her head from facing the ceiling, Gracie cuts her eyes over at the counselor across from her. " Ma'am you are the first and only counselor I have ever seen. My husband kept himself busy with work, and his burning desire to step out on our marriage." Gracie fights back the river of tears overflowing from her eyes. She sits upright on the grey sofa, and wipes away the burning tears off of her face. The counselor passes a box of Kleenex from the coffee table in between her and Gracie. Gracie gently takes the box from the counselor, and begins to lose control of her tears.

Mauntie
Here's to the light of our entire family. Even though you didn't birth me physically, you birthed me mentally and spiritually into the woman I am today. When you look up the definition of strength, your picture comes up right next to it. You always say " Your my favorite niece!" joking because I am your ONLY niece, but I know that you mean it even if I weren't. Before I came into your world like a scene from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, you held it down! You raised 4 kids all on your own, and instilled into all of them (myself included) responsibility, strength, drive, independence, and tough skin.

Never have I ever
" I know... I know, I shouldn't have done that. He was... IRRESISTIBLE. His cologne still lingers on my dress. Every time I close my eyes I can still see our silhouette in the mirror. I can still feel his callused hands rubbing up my inner thighs, around my waist, cupping my breasts. I can still feel his full lips gliding gently across my bounding pulse, leaving the scent of Merlot from his breath. His eyes were like pools of honey, I tried badly to look away; I was stuck in his trance. I have never done something like this before, NEVER lost control... He had all control, for that moment I belonged to him."
