Using Neural Stem Cell Therapy to Treat TBIs
Stem cells are undifferentiated cells found inside the body and have the capability of generating lineage-specific cells. Neurons are different from other cells in our body because they don't undergo mitosis and division after determination and differentiation.

The 'Feminist Agenda' in the Modern World
It has become important to dissociate the word feminine with feminism. Over the years, feminism has been given a negative connotation by society. It has been misinterpreted as a fight for a civilization where women dominate men. However, it is important to think logically and realize that this is not the case. Feminism simply means political, economic, social, and cultural equality amongst both men and women. Radical feminism is, a lot of the time, used as a representation of the feminist movement. However, this is fallacious thinking in the sense that we cannot allow unfortunate occurrences to represent a whole movement of individuals, each with their own different interpretation of what this movement means to them while sharing the common idea of equality. Women fear to associate themselves with the term because of the trail of negativity that comes along with it. Modern feminism is complex in every sense of intersectionality. I will admit, I too have thought about the negative implication that comes with the label of a feminist, and have asked myself if that is the message I want to send, and it is. It is because I do not allow popular opinion and ignorance to influence my beliefs in something that is greater than one individual’s perception. Unfortunately, there are several isolated matters that, one could argue, have faulty reasoning and rationale. This does not necessarily mean that all feminists agree, or even tolerate the issue, and that is what is being overlooked. Do not let poor judgment of a situation overcome one's logic and common sense.

‘Trophy Hunting,’ a So-Called Legal Sport, Endangering African Wildlife
“We are left shaking our heads wondering why American people care more about African animals than African people” (Nzoaug, 2015). On July 1st, 2015, Cecil, the beloved lion, was killed by American dentists and their hobby for trophy hunting. Trophy hunting is the selective killing of specific wildlife for reasons none other than the pleasure of mounting the animal’s head on a wall. Trophy hunting has many regulations and restrictions that are put up and vary by country. Most common restrictions include the grounds the animal is hunted and killed, the weapons used, and limitations on which animals can and can't be killed. While trophy hunting carries much controversy, and both sides of the spectrum have substantial and reasonable arguments, trophy hunting should be a ceased so-called “sport.” Though the argument behind the termination of trophy hunting is vast, were Dr. Palmer’s actions wrong? Dr. Palmer’s actions were reprehensible as a whole, but not wrong as he claims to not have been fully aware of the operations taken place to make the hunting happen.

The Integration of Technology in the Field of Medicine: Beneficial or Detrimental?
The average life expectancy was 47.3 years in the early twentieth century recorded between 1900 and 1950. This number has gradually increased over time, resulting in the life expectancy of the twenty-first century to be 77.9, recorded between 2000 and 2007 (Arias, 2014). This drastic increase is greatly influenced by medical advancements that have aided the quality of medical attention patients receive. The field of medicine has seen considerable innovations under the foundation of technology; such said progression has caused a significant shift in the way we perceive and approach healthcare. Physicians have undergone a substantial change in the way they practice medicine: having technology facilitate the collection, accessibility, and tracking of patient information that results in a refined delivery of care. Subsequently, the integration of technology has further accommodated patient necessities by increasing the accessibility of healthcare services and the accuracy of the assistance. Equally important, technology provides an educational platform which is indispensable in engendering proficient and exemplary healthcare providers. That is to say, technological strategies have been applied as didactic resources for medical students. Undoubtedly, technology has played a crucial role in the development and growth of science and service in the medical field.
