I Went to the TBEX Ostrava 2018 Travel Bloggers Conference and Here's What I Learned
I was excited to be going to my first TBEX travel bloggers event in Ostrava, Czechia (formerly called the Czech Republic). I only had been to one other travel blogger conference previously, the WITS summit in Quebec, so I didn’t know what to expect and didn’t want to compare the two as being the same. The WITS was mostly focused on women bloggers while TBEX is open to both females and males of all ages. If I had to guess the demographics of this conference it would be that it is primarily people in their late 20s to early 30s. Having said that, I can also say I met baby boomers (in retired mode) and couples blogging together. It’s a good mix of all ages and backgrounds. Many know each other from attendance at previous TBEXs.

Lively Beach in Corpus Christi, Texas is Lovely
For my birthday in January 2021, my husband and I took a trip to a new place that turned out to be fantastic! It was the Lively Beach resort condominiums on Mustang Island. If you are not familiar with Texas, I’ll start by saying it took about 7 hours to drive there from North Texas (Dallas area) all the way south to the coast of Corpus Christi.

5 Night Jamaican "Dream Cruise" Ends up a Nightmare, Sort Of
I decided to take an Ocean Cruise with my husband aboard Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas. It was called the 5-Night Jamaican Dream Cruise, labeled as adults-only because the date coincided with Spring Break. We expected there to be a few party-goers onboard, but not an ongoing raucous rave party.

Astrocartography: What is it?
Astro=relating to the stars. Cartography=Mapping. I'm giving you a quick primer to acquaint you with Astrocartography and how it intersects with your natal chart. This more advanced topic covers how certain places may make you feel a certain way depending on what planetary lines cross the locations. Therefore, it’s helpful if you already understand your natal chart and the planet placements in each of the twelve houses.

Waking Up in the Wrong Direction
I knew my eyes were closed. I could feel my eyelids fluttering as light and strange images flashed through my mind. I didn’t want to open my eyes. Not for fear of what I might see, but because an awful buzzing sound resonated through my skull. It was getting louder, compelling me to wonder where I was.
