I Dare to Dream
With the pandemic still running its course, I’ve been re-binge watching Outlander, on Netflix and just reaching season 3, the feelings of wonder and romance that the first two seasons gave me have resurfaced. So much to the point, I had to re-watch the movie called Under the Tuscan Sun, for the millionth time. I’m not exactly sure how to label these feelings that these two pieces of media instill in me.

The Strength C1
Belladonna Hunter slouched in a metal chair under the awning of her favourite coffee shop, her legs crossed. An iced vanilla latte and her phone sat on the patio table in front of her. Her heart sank in disappointment with the realization that she'd been stood up again. J0eSm1th1983 was supposed to have met her half an hour ago. She was certain she'd spotted him from across the patio; he'd made eye contact with her and quickly kept walking. She'd even done her very best to look good that day, opting to put in her contact lenses instead of wearing her glasses since the purple colour didn't go with everything she wore. Her hair was brushed to a shine and was braided down her back.

The Strength
As the sun started to sink, Garreth De’Zairo and his cousin Lukius De’Zairo rode up to a cluster of standing stones that were covered in ivy. Garreth removed his helmet and ran a hand through his sweaty sliver-white hair. There is no way this is the place, he thought to himself. He dismounted, landing on the ground with a loud thud and the clanking of armour. The feel of his hair standing on end caused a shiver down Garreth’s back. He reached up, working his fingers around his bronze ribbed horns, and flattening his hair back to normal.
