The Good Girl
The First Three years I was married in the small Presbyterian church that his grandfather attended every Sunday. The wedding was in December with red and white Christmas decorations. I can remember insisting that there be mistletoe from a big oak tree, however I must admit I did not see the significance of this. It is funny to note that I decorate for the holidays in any color except red and white. I quit the architecture program and continued with small art classes with my mother for a few months. I was soon discouraged from doing this because I should be spending these nights with my new husband. I don’t remember when he started staying away from home, but I am sure it was by the following summer.

A Parted Puddle
Imagine if you will a series about a 54 year old woman and her 24 year old daughter sitting outside, traveling the US and visiting family and friends all while high or smoking weed. The mom has several autoimmune diseases, more degrees than she will ever use or pay for and works full time in the public school system. She has become disenfranchised about life in general. She is still old fashioned enough to never want anyone to find out she gets high due to chronic pain. What she doesn't know is that most people already know and could care less.

Deliberate Indifference
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing this letter in hopes that justice will prevail and the students at Bisbee Unified School District will be protected from those who would make them victims. A twelve-year-old student reported phone conversations between her and a twenty-two-year-old male employed by the school district to her coach on May 3, 2023. The coach then sent me a text reporting the incident. I told her that the FBI should be contacted because they could search the male employee's phone using the carrier or IP address. I immediately received a text from the principal at the Jr. High, telling me NOT to contact the FBI and to stop all investigations into the matter. I was assured that the school would handle everything and take appropriate measures to protect the student.

Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Witchcraft
When I think of religion, I automatically start asking questions. I’ve been asking these questions for the last forty-eight years. Have I found answers? I would say definitely yes, and I have discovered many answers. Have I uncovered this elusive “truth” of which everyone speaks? First, I must define Truth. When you are studying psychology, the definition of Truth is this: “Truth is a property not so much of thoughts and ideas but more properly of beliefs and assertions. But to believe or assert something is not enough to make it true, or else the claim that ‘to believe something makes it true’ would be just as true as the claim that ‘to believe something does not make it true.’ Therefore when I speak of Truth, it will be my Truth that I have experienced and seen with my own eyes. I will write using a year’s timeline to keep things consistent and linear and avoid confusion.
