Bio
I am Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and a Business Owner not always in that order. Putting my trials to paper, and returning to it helps me see what it took to get through it. Win or lose we must be prepared to make our move when it is our turn

Let's All Erase 2020 From Our Memory Pt. 2
They say it is not RACISM, so I do not know what to call it. We tried to tell them that we MATTERED, they said we created a HATE GROUP. We decided it is time to BEAR ARMS, they called us a MILITIA GROUP. We tried to PROTEST, others came out to steal and they said we were LOOTERS.

Let's All Erase 2020 From Our Memory
If there was a restart option, I would definitely use it for 2020. I can remember the excitement when we brought in 2000, with 2020 there was even more excitement only to start the year with the death of David Stern, the NBA Commissioner until 2014 when he retired after 30 years. David changed the NBA into the powerhouse entity that it is today from a league that was in DEEP financial trouble.

Can a Man & Woman Just Be Friends?
Can a Man and a Woman just be friends? Many say no, never, and for a long time I agreed, up until I lucked up and met the person that would become my BEST FRIEND. It started in the smoking area of a large health insurance company where we were employed. I would see him every day, same time, twice a day but we never spoke. We had a mutual friend whose name I will not mention but she was the catalyst that brought about our unity. We both cared a lot about her and things that were occurring in her life at the time. With only 15 minutes to smoke and counsel her we teamed up and let her know how we felt about her issues. From that day in 1998 forward; with a minor split that I will cover later we have been the Best of Friends.

STEPMOM
I remember it like it was yesterday, my mother telling me "Do not marry a man with a whole bunch of kids". I knew what she was trying to say, I had watched her over the years having to deal with so much. My Dad had 10 kids that called my Mom their Stepmother. It seemed like every month we had a new edition to the household. They would come and go like there was a revolving door and with opened arms she would accept them, she loved them all.

The Electoral College
The Electoral College, this discussion only becomes a hot topic every four years, when we all should be putting our heads together to get rid of it. This lesson may become a little boring, but it is something I felt needed to be discussed. Why have we kept this practice for so long, the nation is large enough today to allow the popular vote to speak for itself.

WE WILL BE WATCHING
I find myself listening to others regarding the results of this year’s election, and the hottest issue is what is Joe going to do in his first 100 days. Many have gone to his page and check out his plan and they just do not like it. Others are only glad Trump will be removed.

Race, Gender or the Economy?
TOGETHER! WE all went through the last couple of days, none of US knowing what way things would go. WE are people going through the same thing at the same time. Whatever society wants to call it, a PANDEMIC, EPIDEMIC, VIRUS, PLAGUE, BIBLE PROPHECY. Whatever you want to label it WE are dealing with it TOGETHER.
