Sail Your Ships For This 'Swan Princess' Theory: Odette Was In Love With Derek All Along!
There are many fan theories floating around about movies from our youth, whether it be the Pixar Theory, that Tangled, The Little Mermaid, Frozen and Tarzan are all interconnected, or even the fact that the merchant at the beginning of the movie Aladdin was meant to be the Genie after he was set free? Theories abound in the Disney universe for nearly every movie in their animated vault. But what about those animated movies that don't fall under the Disney umbrella?

Everything You Need To Know (So Far) About The 'Anastasia' Broadway Adaptation
In the '90s Disney had the monopoly on princesses, with the Disney Renaissance happening during that time and dominating the animation genre. However, in 1997 Fox came up with their own answer to it with Anastasia, based on the real-life story of the Russian princess who went missing during the overthrow of her father, Tsar Nicholas II.

Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together: 6 Celebrity Breakups More Devastating Than Hiddleswift
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston surprised a lot of fans of both when they decided to get together in the first place, so now that the two of them have announced they've gone their separate ways there isn't much left to surprise us. Maybe it was that it seemed weird from the start or maybe that it was that they just swamped us with too much Hiddleswift in the scant few months they were together, but this is one celebrity breakup that hasn't exactly devastated us. There have been celebrity breakups in the past, however, which broke our hearts and felt like family splitting up.

7 Trivia Facts I Bet You Didn't Know About 'My Best Friend's Wedding'
My Best Friend's Wedding may be one of the most memorable of all of the '90s rom-coms, from its surprise twist where Julia Roberts DOESN'T get her man, to the singing at the rehearsal dinner, to the wonderful sweetness of a young and out of tune Cameron Diaz. It's a movie that we all remember for a multitude of reasons, and, in fact, is being included as part of Hulu's Summer Road Trip series during the tour's next stop in Raleigh, North Carolina. But despite how well-loved My Best Friend's Wedding is, I bet you didn't know everything that went on behind the scenes. Here are some fun facts about this great movie.

How Our Ideas Of Female Rivalry And Marriage Have Changed Since 'My Best Friend's Wedding'
My Best Friend's Wedding is one of those all-important romantic comedies. Starring the woman with the greatest smile in Hollywood, Julia Roberts, and Dermot Mulroney, who was doing the smolder well before Flynn Ryder came into the picture, it centers on the age-old story of not seeing what you have right in front of you until someone else does. Looking back on it, however, there are some really weird things going on in regard to certain mindsets about women and marriage that are, well, seriously outdated and stereotypical. Such as...

How 'The Princess Diaries' Saved 12-Year-Old Me
Being a young 12-year-old, about to turn 13, is probably one of the most difficult times in a young girl's life. You don't like the way you look, none of your clothes are right, and you spend a lot of your time wondering what other people think of you. It's even harder when you manage to find some semblance of a normal life, only to have everything upended by a move.

Michael Vs. Nicholas: Who's The TRUE Prince For Mia In 'Princess Diaries 3'?
It has been 12 long years since we last visited Genovia and saw Princess Mia, but fans haven't forgotten the movies that shot star Anne Hathaway to fame. With whispers of a Princess Diaries 3 being kicked about, it isn't a matter of whether or not the fans or the stars want it to happen, which both director Gary Marshall and Anne have stated interest, but HOW it should happen. With so much having happened with Mia just in her first two movies, how could Hollywood possibly top the first two with Princess Diaries 3?

Real-Life Ursula Makes Girl's Dream Come True
As someone who cosplays in Utah, it is not unusual to see stories of cosplayers popping up in my feed. Lately I had been seeing a story about a young girl with five different congenital heart defects whose only wish was to meet the fabulous Ursula, the sea witch from The Little Mermaid (soon to be a live-action movie).

Fan Casting Disney's Live Action 'The Little Mermaid'
While Universal is making plans to move forward with their live-action version of Ariel and her friends, Disney has announced that it will be adding The Little Mermaid to its roster of classics that will be made into live action in the future. While I applaud Universal for wanting to tackle the original version written by Hans Christian Anderson, I am excited about the prospect of Disney redoing this tale as well, given their success at retelling their tales in movies such as Maleficent and The Jungle Book (and the upcoming Beauty and the Beast, the trailer for which just dropped). Here are some of the actors who I think would be amazing in a casting of the live-action tale of the mermaid with the voice of an angel.
