What's In My Purse?
1.Covid Vaccination Card: Yep, I am vaccinated and although as of the date of this Blog I am not technically "fully" vaccinated, I will be come this Friday. I had previously posted about my experience via video in my Instagram Stories (married.n.mommin) but overall so far so good. The vaccine process was more nerve wrecking than anything because of how everyone made me freak out about side effects but ultimately having a large family played a big part in the decision. While facing backlash on Tiktok (Tionnaunscripted) it is what it is and as I said in a recent video, it is ultimately your choice but when I am asked why I did it - I have an answer meanwhile.. I have asked several "anti-covid vaccine people" and have yet to receive an answer other than, I don't want to.. I respect it.. *snickers*.

5 Quick Breakfast Meals for Moms
As Moms I know we all want to be able to provide a nice home cooked meal that we spend hours making and then serve our family all together every single night like a modern day "Wonder Years" scene from back in the day.. - SIKE! The fact of the matter is, this is not back in the day and these are not the Wonder Years! As a little girl I won't lie, that is what I aspired to do. I wanted to be a stay at home Wife, have kids, cook three square meals, kiss my Husband when he came home and take his brief case but I also wanted a career. I am starting to think maybe I was dropped on my head as a kid or something because, what was I thinking?!

Soaked Pages
It was third period in the tenth grade and my Spanish teacher had just cut the lights off and turned on a movie for us to watch. While the other girls in the class were attempting to cuddle up next to their boyfriends and play footsies under the extra tiny desks hoping to go unnoticed, I reached into my backpack and pulled out a book I had been hiding from my Mom. We grew up in strict home and the one thing my Mom was sure of was that she was going to teach us to stay away from sex and anything sexual so we did not get pregnant at a young age like she did. I am not sure she understood that making sex so taboo only made us more curious at that age, but it did. I propped the book open under my backpack and started reading it while the movie played in a language I didn't care to learn. Every time I turned a page, I could feel butterflies in my stomach and my palms would start to sweat because I was anticipating the next event. The descriptions and the details down to the way the moonlight hit certain parts of the bodies of the couples while making love or the placement of freckles on the main characters face were tiny examples of how captivating this story was. At this point in my life I was no longer a virgin so it wasn't a matter of being fully curious but it was more so a desire to feel the level of ecstasy as it was described in this book that I just couldn't seem to put down.

Gifting Black Owned
I am more than certain that none of us forecasted a more wrecked year. In prior years I was known as the one to give gift cards (if anything at all) because they were the easiest gift ever but I vowed that 2020 would be the year that I put thought into my gifts and would buy ahead of time. There was nothing like rushing the aisles in my local shopping mall or the infamous waiting outside of Walmart 24 hours in advance for the doors to open to awesome savings. Tuh,I remember one year my Mother (armed with a store printout) assigned a section to each of us as kids to locate certain toys and all meet back up in the Jewelry Department signaling we had completed our contribution to Operation Black Friday. This year… was different.
