As Above So Below
A young man jolts awake in a freezing train car. He's dressed in nothing but a pair of camo shorts and tennis shoes, dazed but alert to his new surroundings. All the windows are down, and he begins to shiver as a constant breeze passes through the car. The train is spotless, timeless, and pristine. Oddly quiet like before a storm but still tense like before the drop of a rollercoaster. It's like waking up from a dream. Instead of waking up to a familiar reality, in this reality, everything seems surreal.

A Ghost in a Spaceship
The dreams started when I moved back home. I left the life I had known for a decade or more and ventured back home to a life I thought I knew. Being back here, I felt indifferent. I felt comfortable being in a world I had known for what feels like a lifetime ago but struggled with navigating the fact that this place never changed. Like a fossil preserved in time, everything seemed frozen, don't get me wrong, things had changed, however to a now outsider, the core of everything was so clearly the same.

Now VS. Then
Recalling those high school days we all know the feeling of when EVERYTHING was so earth-shatteringly important, and yet so fleeting at the same. Whether you despised high school or would die to live those days again we all have a palpable memory from that time.

The Reputation of A Scorpio
What's your name? What's your sign" The age-old question, the corniest pickup line. Most would turn their heads and move on to the next guy at the bar. Personally, this is one of the most interesting questions that can be asked in my opinion. The endless thoughts when someone says "I'm a Pieces" or "I'm on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer" or "I'm a Scorpio with a Taurus moon," can materialize hours of conversational topics.

On The Corner
The bike spokes glimmered in the sun rays that peaked between the tree shadows and the spanish moss that hung over the city. The newly pumped tires glided around the lush garden filled squares in town and maneuvered the cobblestone streets with ease. The large tree roots that broke through the concrete streets like miniature volcanoes were no match for this skilled rider. It's tourist season, meaning you must be ready at any time to dodge a slow-moving tour trolley or a gaggle of giddy bachelorettes at a moment's notice. The bike whizzed by all the additional people on the streets as the wheels swirled fast past the brick storefronts and street merchants trying to make an extra buck.
