Lucy in the sky with walnuts
First thing you should know is that brown walnuts are initially encased by a green shell. Once the brown shell is cracked, the walnuts inside are a stark white, and peeling them will leave your hands dyed yellow for days on end. (...Now you've got something for the incoming dinner party).

The Retelling of The Well
"There weren't always dragons in the Valley. There weren't always..." kept racing through Cherilia's mind as she paced in her chicken-leg hut. Up and down she went, her feet chasing her thoughts, and nearly stepping on the dried burdock that had fallen from the clothesline. She hadn't had the time that morning to change her muddied skirts, but even if she had, she most likely wouldn't have achieved the presence of mind to remember to change anyway. Much was already underway.

All the things you haven't seen
Hey mom. I never told you this before, but I probably will never be able to forgive myself for failing to love you when you most needed it. While you gave me life, I was in turn watching yours breaking at the seams without knowing what to do.

How to Change Your Entire Life With One Sentence from William James
If you're a healthy skeptic, the title alone should give you pause. Anybody selling you panaceas may as well be a present-day member of a traveling circus. In any case, I am here to show you the miraculous benefits that internalizing and living out one sentence can make. Hopefully, that alone can show you its potential.

And It Looked Like Love
It's been 2 minutes now that you've been nestled in line at the grocery store between a grandmother and her grandson and a huddle of hyperactive too-cool-for-school teenagers. Your partner is right beside you, it's getting close to 8 pm, you've still got on a sweaty pair of shorts and your hair is up after the gym. The grocery run was the product of a "do-we-have-this-at-home-I-don't-remember-ok-we-should-get-it-then" conversation in the car and you're holding the tomato juice that you're pretty sure you-do-have-at-home. You're now just ready to fly home, open up the bed covers, and sink into the mattress like butter on toast.

And the Oscar for Jealous Husband Goes to Will SmithTop Story - March 2022
Reality is always messy, ripe with conflict, unsettled resentment, and bittersweet redemption. Ironically, the compelling filmmaking ingredients necessary to make it to the Oscars were the ones Smith²-Rock delivered during the 94th Academy Awards. Watching the incident was like seeing all of what the world has known as jovial and light-hearted entering reality’s no man’s land. Not sure if we should be thanking the Academy for this one.

The Jealous GirlfriendTop Story - March 2022
Every time I think of trying to describe the sensation of relationship jealousy, my mind automatically goes to the scene from Twilight when Edward is trying to explain how Bella’s smell shoots a sharp pain in his throat akin to a branding iron. I’d say that jealousy is a similar feeling, only it’s located in the chest. It comes on quickly and makes you feel it all over your chest, and especially close to your heart. It’s frequently matched by an equally painful throat closure and the feeling that your stomach is dropping, like you’re on a massive rollercoaster. In other words, it’s a mixture of anger and fear.
