Bio
I've been told that writing is among my most successful skills. I disagree. Every writer needs an introspective heart, and a story to tell. Perhaps the true gifts are the experiences, and the ability to express the magic of everyday life

I Know that I Don’t Know
I haven’t known what to say. I am heavy with the weight of the world, not silent to it. But I know my voice is not the most important one. I believe that harm to any of us, effects each and every one of us. I believe we need to stand up for the ones being harmed. Last night I fell asleep with the words “I can’t understand how the white man never understood how to handle the hue man properly”. And I just keep turning those words over and over “Hue man. Human. Clever, and real”. I don’t sleep at night when my fellow human is suffering, knowing violence and hate are so rampant.

The Best Little Cookies in the 4 Corner States
Biscochitos (sometimes written Bizcochitos): flaky, buttery, dusted with cinnamon sugar goodness and just the right amount of spice! If you've never tried these golden treasures...you're not alone, but you're missing out. These shortbread-like cookies are a well-kept, secret New Mexican staple. They are so delicious in fact, that they were named the official state cookie! If you live outside of the US four-corner states, it's likely you've never even heard the name biscochito, so I'll tell you in advance: you're welcome! Easy to make, and sure to please! Once you make these beauties for your friends and family, they'll be asking for them every holiday. Just be careful, or your family may dub you the official holiday baker.

Why You Love Animals More than you Love Humans
We’ve all been there: you watch a cute video of some puppies running through a park, or you look over at your kitty sleeping peacefully on her back: tummy and all four little paws exposed. Joyful tears in your eyes, you find yourself exclaiming “Man, animals are so great! Why can’t people be this pure?” or “I don’t need a boyfriend/girlfriend, my pet is so much better!”. I’ve probably said some variation of these things myself. So, you’re not weird! Of course you love your pets more than you love other humans...but don’t you ever take the time to question that? And just why is it so difficult to feel the same about our fellow human beings?

5 Reasons I'm the Best He's Ever Had
When it comes to my sex life, I am a firm believer in quality over quantity. So when a recent older partner, who had been extremely promiscuous over the years, announced that I was "the best he ever had"; I should be flattered. However, this wasn't the first time I'd heard the remark. In fact, a majority of my partners had very genuinely offered similar statements. So what might you ask was setting my "skills" apart from the average partner? Some candid discussion with my sex partners and fellow humans lead me to 5 easy conclusions.
