The Haunted Doll Next Door
The real Annabelle versus the movie We all know of the famous possessed or haunted dolls that have inundated our lives with their disturbing stories plastered throughout the Internet. They have not only had movies based on their havoc-causing days but have their own occult following. Annabelle, the seemingly innocent-looking Raggedy Anne doll, is the first that would come to anyone's mind. Annabelle, a doll purchased in the 1970s, was given to a young lady named Donna. Soon after, the doll started to exhibit possessed characteristics, like moving around the place by itself and leaving childlike letters written in crayon. When the doll left scratch marks on a friend after spending the evening, they contacted the Warrens to assess the situation. They concluded that the doll was not possessed but instead was used as a conduit for a demon who would eventually inhabit one of the apartment occupants. The idea was to use the doll to take control of a person finally. The Warrens spoiled this plan by locking away this raggedy Anne doll in a glass case to prevent the demon that possesses the doll from escaping and rendering devastation on any other unsuspecting soul.

The Devil Face Dollar Bill
It had been a week since the passing of my beloved grandmother and four days since saying said my final goodbyes at the funeral. She was my favourite person and would continue to hold that title until my dying day. She had had a good life living to the age of ninety-nine, only a month shy of her hundredth birthday. I had taken the task of going through all the belongings in her home, though this was done out of love, it was also so I could possibly find the diary she had left me in her will. I had felt a sense of honour being left the diary of a woman who had led such a full life, and yet no one knew where she kept such a cherished item. The final evening of my stay in the house, I decided that I would sleep in her bed as the couch was starting to put a permanent kink in my neck. To some, the thought of sleeping in the bed where their grandmother had quietly passed in her sleep may have seemed morbid or obscure in the least, but after outfitting it with clean sheets and my favourite comforter that I brought from home, I felt more at peace than I had the entire week.

Haunted
When thinking of a haunted location, we know, or at least we assume, that it is being haunted by a ghost. And in retrospect, that is usually true, but what is the actual reason that that spirit is haunting that place? Does there have to be some magical formula put together with all the right circumstances and specific characteristics coming together in just the proper manner to make it ideal for a haunting? Though some various reasons and events can make a place haunted, please keep one thing in mind; not all of them entail a creepy old abandoned building.
