So around a year and a half ago, I was diagnosed with bi-polar. The diagnosis changed my life. It both threw it into chaos, as well as brought order to the chaos that I was experiencing. I had an answer to so many problems. I had spent my life wishing there was a magic pill I could take that would make everything better. And although that didn't happen exactly, I had to try many different pills, as well as therapies; I have found the light at the end of the tunnel. I am happy where I am. I am a student and live a crazy never-ending rollercoaster of a life, but in a good way. One that I can see coming and prepare for, and enjoy.
Whether you have a long layover or are coming for a holiday, the question of what to do while you are in a city always comes up. So for the beautiful city of Toronto, it can seem hard to figure out what to do. It has some attractions that are very well known, like the CN Tower, which once held the record for the tallest freestanding structure in the world. But there are so many more things to do in the city then just that. This list gives you some advice about where you can go around the city. There is a lot to see and do in this big of a city. So if you're traveling by TTC or have a car, this list goes through all the things that are fun to do in the city.
So you wanna keep fish, but you have never had a fish before. Now you could Google for hours looking up information on fish and how to care for them. But I would recommend one fish in particular, a Betta fish. These are hardly fish, that do need care, but are far simpler than many other fish available out there. For a couple reasons, they are a great fish for beginners. So if you re looking for an easy setup, clean up, and maintenance for a pretty coloured fish, this is the fish for you.
Have you ever thought "I don't want to give my money to big companies that are just using it to line their pockets."? I have, often. So I went on the hunt this year to find companies that give back in some way with the purchases you make. I found a bunch of companies that do some good with the money they make. If it is supporting artisans and charity causes, or cleaning the ocean all these companies do some good.
So I was going on a holiday, and it turns out that we needed a stop over for the airplane. The cheapest and fastest option was Iceland. So on our way back we decided to stop there for more then a couple hours. We had 26 hours in Keflavik, Iceland to do what we wanted with. In all honesty, I had gotten pretty sick at this point on our holiday, and wasn't really up for a lot, but we still had a great time. The city is about an hour drive out of the capital, Reykjavik, and it is the closest to the major airport there. It's small, but really suited for tourists who only have a small amount of time. Being beside the airport, there are many touristy things that have popped up in the city, meaning that if you only have a day, there are still many options for what to do with it. Here is how our day went.
So I have tattoos. I love them all but admittedly, I like some more than others. If I had had the chance to try out my tattoo for a week or more before I got it I probably would have gotten a different design of tattoo. Insert Inkbox, a Company that lets you test drive tattoos. As someone that has three of them, I thought that I would try out the service, as there is a design that I am contemplating getting. And this is how it worked.
