Jaxon's Mysteries
CHAPTER 1 Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. The locals from the little town of Cape’s Edge had a number of theories as to how this phenomenon occurred, from aliens to a witch's curse. But no one could explain why it only happened at midnight. No one could explain a lot of things that happened in Cape’s Edge. It was a town that since it’s conception, has been filled with mystery and intrigue.

The Boy Who Stood in the Rain
This is the sequel to my poetic thread that started with, The Boy Who Lucid Dreamed; the tale of an artistic, but insecure boy who discovered his ability to lucid dream. Upon this discovery, he began to live his life through his dreams. Allowing life to pass him by. One day, for one reason or another, he realizes that he must wake and make his dreams come true. In order to do that, he must face all the things that are holding him back. His pain, despair, his feelings of rejection and abandonment, and most of all...his self doubt and inability to trust himself. He takes all of those moments, and goes outside just as it begins to rain. He screams the loudset scream he can, allowing the rain to wash over him. Releasing and purifying his being. The Boy Who Lucid Dreamed became The Boy Who Stood in the Rain.

Cape's Edge
Introduction Cape’s Edge, a northern Michigan small town founded back in the 1600’s. It became a haven for freed slaves and African witches fleeing from the witch trials. Over time it became a predominantly black owned town. Thriving for several decades as witches were allowed to practice openly and helped move the town along. While its origins may seem more wholesome, another part of its history is more grime. Dark. In the early 1700’s, a group of vicious settlers came, and a war broke out over territory that devastated the town, turning it to ruin. Many lives on both ends were lost. For centuries following, the town became known for strange occurrences, disappearances, and general weirdness. Most people say that the town is haunted. Littered with the souls of the murdered freed slaves and witches, who cursed the land with their blood. Others say the weirdness in the area dates back longer than the towns founding and may be due to something underneath the ground. A dark energy that can cause chaos, destruction, and death. Despite all that, nowadays, most of the town is relatively normal. Not much happens here. At least not on the surface.

The Boy Who Lucid Dreamed a Short Story
There's a story of a boy, we'll just call him, "The Boy"; and one day he was really sad. He felt like he wasn't enough for anything, or anyone. He tried not to let it show, but it spilled out on occasion. During the day, he'd meddle in his mind of all the ways he wasn't enough. But at night, he dreamt. He dreamt ALOT. Eventually he discovered an ability to lucid dream. He didn't care about the day anymore. He slept as much as he could. Having everything he'd ever wanted... in his dreams. Life, awake, didn't seem worth it; but life in his dreams was worth it all. So many dreamscapes and moments... but one day, for one reason or another... he was reminded of the world. Reminded of those who've helped him along the way and deserved to see him live his life in the real world. See who he'd become. So with that, he woke up. This is the story of that boy; The Boy Who Lucid Dreamed. THE 1st in a poetic trilogy dedicated to love, life, and dreams.

The Moonlight Sector
“Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say.” A man says coming into view. He is wearing a black suit. The background appears to be space, with a door in the distance. “Tonight,” he says as he begins to walk toward the door. “We’ll see a story from Christine Porter, an astronaut and scientist, on a mission to Mars to collect resources and materials that may be useful for human advancement. We find out what happens when she collects the wrong resource and someone or something comes back to find it. Tonight… we enter… The Moonlight Sector.” He walks into the door, before everything goes white.
