I could go on about how these past few years have been a struggle, to say the least. But not a person on earth doesn't realize this fact by now. What I will say is that now more than ever it's important to look at ourselves and think about what we can, have, and will do to make life even just a bit more bearable, for us and for others.

2001: A Space Odyssey's Exploration of Power Dynamics
***SPOILERS FOR 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY*** 2001: A Space Odyssey shows firsthand what happens when the power dynamic between man and machine is challenged, as the entire crew is nearly wiped out by the on-board AI HAL, all because of how he was programmed by man. The scene that shows this best is when HAL attempts to lock Dave out after killing the hibernating crewmembers, forcing him to sacrifice his last remaining crewmate in order to board the ship to disconnect HAL.
