The Labyrinth of Life:
Hey y'all. Super queer femme child of the '80s here. I grew up watching The Labyrinth, My Little Pony, The Last Unicorn, Legend, Dirty Dancing, Exorcist, and Poltergeist, among other things. Sesame Street was also my jam, and my sister held down the Mr. Rogers fan club, so I occasionally ventured into the Neighborhood of Make-Believe with her.

Will you meet me in the eye?
The act of threading a needle is not always an intuitive process for me. More often than (k)not, I find myself all scratched up and poked through with tiny pinpricks or gaping holes before I re-member that it is the eye, not the point, I should aim for.

Recently I've been sifting through words I wrote in college and high school. Yes, I'm one of those folks that have saved every journal, and most papers I wrote during recent past lives; I'm so glad I did. Finding words from my younger selves has been like finding little brass keys, which unlock doors to portals that lead me home.
