Who Am I? Part 2
I was told I was adopted when I was 8 years old. I was told that information was a secret and not to tell others, leaving me feeling isolated and different from everyone else, including my own family. When I was finally out of school and working in my own office and getting my own mail no one else could see, I started my search for my roots. Nine years later after much research and many disappointments I finally was about to give up and made a deal with our maker. I said to him "I'm done, maybe I should have never started this, it's almost my birthday, one more week, if I hear nothing from all the calls and letters I've sent out there in the world by my birthday I will take that as a sign to just stop".
