A Fairy Tale: My 'Pokemon' Champion Team
I have been playing Pokemon since the beginning, my sisters still lament how I would "take over the tv each day to watch Pokemon." Guilty as charged on that one, I was completely enthralled by the series and followed it closely for many years. After playing Ruby and Sapphire, I began taking breaks before returning to play through the new generations that were released.

Retail Therapy: Holiday Season Session
I started in the retail industry a few months after I graduated high school. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do so I opted to go into the workforce while I contemplated what career path I wanted to pursue in college. I was hired at the height of the back to school season and was blown away by how busy we were. Then the holidays came, and I was forever changed.

Yawgmoth, Lord of Innistrad
I am a huge fan of the card game Magic: The Gathering. I began playing back around 1999/2000 when one of my sisters bought an introductory deck and taught me how to play. While I do enjoy the game I find myself enjoying the lore behind it, unlike many other card games on the market MTG has intricate stories behind their cards.

How 'The Dark Knight' Trilogy Could've Helped the DCEU
Let's begin this list on a positive note, the DCEU had great potential. DC Comics has some of the most iconic characters put to print and the MCU was finding its groove causing comic book fans everywhere to wait eagerly for what the DCEU had in store for them.

The Most Heart-Tugging Scenes of the MCU
We are midway between Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, which make this the perfect moment to look back at the road that brought us here. After I watched Infinity War in theaters, I did a marathon of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and found that each installment had a moment that was heart tugging. I made a note of each and began ranking them according to which I felt had the most impact, and this list was born.

My Ranking of the MCU's Phase One Films
With Infinity War now out on DVD, I thought it would be a great time to look back at the road that led us here. After I watched Avengers: Infinity War, I rewatched the entire MCU from the very beginning. I will admit I did it in release order and not chronological order (you can eviscerate me in the comment section below). During my two-month rewatch of the MCU, I came to realize how much Phase One is overlooked now.

The Year In Horror
Every October people everywhere get into the Halloween spirit. For some this means pumpkin spice flavored drinks, for others this means designing their Halloween costumes, and for others, this means horror movie marathons. Halloween is the time that people are in the mood to be scared witless which is why they flock to haunted mazes, haunted hayrides, do seances, and dress up to scare other people.

Project Blackwing
With the success of Abeloth: A Star Wars Dark Side Story & The Sith Triumvirate: A Star Wars Dark Side Story I decided to proceed to the EU storyline that I have always thought should be adapted into a stand-alone film. When I first conceptualized this series I debated on which topic to cover first, the three leading contenders were Abeloth, The Sith Triumvirate, and the Blackwing Virus.

The Sith Triumvirate
Back in May, we were treated to the second standalone Star Wars with the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story. Unfortunately, Solo was quickly slammed by fans soon after its announcement as a story we didn't need to see play out and was met with empty theaters upon its release. Star Wars fans are ready for something new, and they made this clear in their rejection of what was meant to be an act of good faith by the powers that be at Disney and Lucasfilm.

Abeloth
In recent years Star Wars has begun to branch off from the main saga to explore other stories or expand on parts of the Star Wars universe. First, we were treated to Rogue One which explored how the Rebels obtained the plans to the Death Star and why it was destroyed so easily. Next we are getting Solo which is going to explore the backstory of Han Solo and several key events in his past.
