Tokyo sightseeing spots taught by Japanese people
Hello, I live in Japan and would like to introduce some famous tourist attractions in Tokyo.
1-Asakusa
Asakusa is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in downtown Tokyo. There is a shrine in Asakusa called Senso-ji.Nakamise-dori, the main approach to Sensoji Temple, is said to be 250 meters long from Kaminarimon to Hozomon. Asakusa is lined with many long-established restaurants specializing in soba, tempura, monjayaki, sukiyaki, Western cuisine, and more than you can eat in a day. Visitors can also enjoy shopping for traditional toys and folk crafts such as marbles, kendama, and ohajiki, wind chimes, fans, and other miscellaneous goods that make great souvenirs. Asakusa Hanayashiki, the oldest existing amusement park in Japan, is also popular. If you want to enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the good old Edo period to your heart’s content, you can’t go wrong by visiting Asakusa first. If you feel that there are too many stores in Asakusa and you are at a loss where to start, try using 365ASAKUSA, a smartphone application recommended by the Asakusa Tourist Federation. It is very convenient to go to Asakusa.
