You Should Go For a Run
If you are one of those who can no longer work or go anywhere during this pandemic, there are very few things we can still do. In most states/cities, citizens are still allowed to go for walks, walk the dog, hike on local trails, and, of course, run!
Get Dressed, Dammit!
Quarantine. At the beginning of all this we were all like, "oh, you mean I don't need to wear pants anymore?" or, "I can just wear sweats all day!"
Social Distancing Culture
"Ah, what a time to be social distancing," Said no one ever. This is a weird time, people. But what I find even weirder (and really cool!) is just how much we are finding ways to come together when we otherwise wouldn't.
I had a big ol' ginger root in my fridge I was using to make cocktails with. Well, I'm glad my less healthier use for the root has since helped me in so many ways!
From the moment I met him, I felt somehow connected to him. I worked with him. Not only did I work with him, but he was one of my supervisors. Not only was he one of my supervisors, but he was the only one of my supervisors that was married with kids. He was the only other coworker I had that was married with kids.
What they ask for "Whatever's good but not boozy."
We've all been there. You're working the bar, making everyone's specific drinks as they ask for it and tell you exactly how they like it. Then someone comes up and says, "eh, I don't know, whatever's good but not too boozy."
Camping and Climbing at Greyrock
Greyrock is an obscure peak for climbing, but it is one of the more well-known hikes in the Northern Colorado area. It might be obscure, but this area has over 100 routes of great granite climbing. There is everything from slab, cracks from fingers to off-width, and moderate multi-pitch routes. The trail sees a lot of traffic during nice weather, but I have yet to run into any other climbers. The effort to reach this peak is out of the question for a lot of climbers who enjoy short approaches. For many climbers, being able to camp here makes the hike in worth it.
