Avalon Mysts
Chapter 3 The main path ran parallel to the brook, winding in and around the underbrush that lined the banks. Little animals scurried up and down the trees, like they were playing a devilishly clever game of tag with their friends, all the while ignoring the two humans that walked amidst them.

Avalon Myst
CHAPTER 1 A pair of big brown eyes framed in strong cheekbones stared into the red, beat up Voltswagen rearview mirror. Aurora looked at her mother's reflection and that of her own in disdain. It was just the two of them ever since she could remember. Her mother held her gaze, silently pleading for the slightest bit of understanding. Aurora didn't get why they had to move; giving up everything they had worked so hard to obtain, just to start over in an unfamiliar and uncomfortable place.

Second Soul
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Nor can they see the dance of a slow death as your body convulses and chameleons into the most perfect shade of blue. No one tells you how your body swells and doubles its size, your blood boiling and evaporating through your pores. They never said that you will have 14 seconds before you pass out, that you will feel your saliva start to sizzle on your tongue. Don't hold your breath, your lungs may just rupture.
