The Anxiety and Depression Association of America reports that general anxiety disorder (GAD) has become the most common mental health problem in the United States, with about 3.1% of the population or 6.8 million adults suffering from anxiety disorders, but less than half (43.2%) are receiving treatment [1]; According to the National Health and Morbidity Survey (NHMS) conducted by Malaysia's Ministry of Health in 2017, up to 79.4% of respondents developed anxiety symptoms in the past 12 months [2].
