Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: The Exciting New Entry into the MCU
Last month, we were given the first teaser trailer for Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and it made Marvel fans lose their minds. It’s the fans’ very first look at the new superhero and it could not have come at a better time. This is the MCU’s first Asian protagonist as well as its first martial arts film. This is just one of the many reasons it will be one of the most exciting movies to come in the fourth phase of the MCU.

Relaxation Station
There are many different types of music people listen to get that zen feeling. Personally, I don't meditate or do yoga but music does let me reach those zen moments. Music is something I tend to turn to for focus and relaxation. There are two different playlists I have for chilling out relaxation and focus relaxation. When I'm writing or while I'm reading, I can't work in silence so music is my go-to. The only issue is I can't concentrate when there are lyrics because it makes me want to sing! So for those times, I listen to non-lyrical music and when chilling out I listen to lyrical music.

WandaVision: Your Sitcom and Superhero Dream
During this long pandemic, we have been lacking our regular dose of Marvel movies which usually gives us around three to four movies a year. We have also been missing out on some of our favourite sitcoms with ones like Modern Family (2009-2020) coming to an end. Where has it all gone? Well, about two months ago our wait was over. For both these things actually in the form of one television series.

Here comes the Murder!
This year has been a wild ride, I think we all can agree on that. Something that helped my friends and me get through these tough times is some trivia nights via zoom. As somewhat of a control freak, I, of course, always choose and organize the questions for the night.

Tik Tok Made Me Buy it
At this point in life, most of us know the way social media has targeted advertisements towards things we search for or talk about. (creepy right?) This could be things from apps to products. We have all seen the miracle-working cream or body-changing leggings. When I tell you how many times a day I see ads for things I want, that would be too many times. Although I don't always cave, there are a few products that I have just had to have and it is because of these tik toks where people review things they have bought on Amazon. Once you watch and like one of these videos, your algorithm goes crazy with them. Most of these things, I'll think to myself, "Oh, that is cool," but I would never buy it.

Jordan Peele and his Influence on the Horror GenreTop Story - March 2021
As a major film fanatic and even more specifically, a major horror film fanatic, Jordan Peele has changed the game for everyone in the business. As an aspiring horror film writer, he has made me have to step up my game for the better. With his directorial debut, Get Out (2017) he opened many oblivious eyes to the reality of black people in America. This take on the horror/psychological thriller is outstanding which made it good enough to earn him an Oscar for best original screenplay. It also showcased some lesser known talent in Daniel Kaluuya (who I have loved since his days on Skins.) He also takes the slasher film to new lengths with his newer addition Us (2019). This film takes the stereotype of having the single black person in the film be a secondary character who is usually killed quickly or off screen by making the main character and most of the cast black and the secondary characters in the film be white. Having Lupita Nyong'o be this slasher film's final girl is what made this film better than it already was.

Moral Dilemma
It was just sitting there. On the bench. A little black book with a hole in the middle. In that hole, there was $20,000. Should I take it? It has no notes inside, just the money. Maybe someone just left it here. I'm sure that's the case. They would have surely been more careful with that amount of money. I could pay off all my debts and travel the world. Oh, I would be able to go to Italy. I could see all the renaissance art that I've always wanted to see and all the architecture. But what if this has been left for some sort of drug deal. I don't want to go to jail for taking tainted money. I should probably just go give it to the police. That would be such a waste though. Did that bush just move? Is someone watching me? This could just be some sick test to see if people do the right thing. That's a lot of money for a test though. If someone has that much money to spare, I think they have some other issues to figure out. I'll just sit down for the next few minutes and see if anyone comes by looking for it. I haven't seen anyone come by since I've been here and they would have surely come back by now if it was a mistake. I don't care if it is a test, I'm taking it. If someone was that stupid to leave it here then they deserve to get it taken. Yeah, I'm taking it. Okay, here we go. Just take it. I swear that bush just moved. I don't know, maybe it didn't. Maybe that is my guilt talking. I shouldn't be guilty though they left it here for the taking. Okay, that is it. I'll just sit on the bench for a few minutes and glance through the book so no one thinks I stole it. I'm glancing, I'm glancing. What the hell am I doing? No one is even around, no one will see. I need this. All the debt and all the vacations I could take. Everyone would do the same thing. I know they would. Time to leave. I'll just stick it in my purse, no one will be the wiser. Now move. One step at a time, down this dark pathway. Why is it so dark? It's only, what, 4:30? Just act normal, keep walking. Is that someone behind me? I'm imagining things, there was no one like ten seconds ago so there is no one there now. You are just paranoid. Yeah, paranoid because you are an awful person. Who takes $20,000 from a bench? It would have been better if someone else found it. They could be going through this right now instead of me. No, stop! I'll just give some of it to charity. I'll pay off my debts, plan a trip around Europe, and the leftovers I'll donate. Perfect. Keep walking. Don't look back, now that will make you look suspicious. Keep going. Okay, there is definitely someone following me. One quick look. Ready, one quick look, now! No one is there but that lamppost looked a little thicker than normal. There is a person behind it for sure. Okay, let's just do a little jogging. I need the exercise anyway. Okay, there are footsteps now, they are running. Run as fast as your feet can take you. Move, move, move!
