As the days go by I carry on as I always have Though I'm missing you I refuse to let my pain show For I know I must move on

It was his birth right, what was rightfully his, it seems His spot on the throne his father once sat upon It took more than a birth right to make him King though
The days pass by and it all seems the same Nothing new, just another day Though the simple life is safest, I know there is more than this
Is anybody truly themselves or do they put on a front for the sake of others? Do they act and dress to be accepted? Do they favor things because that's what the majority likes?
I've always been a dreamer Lost in my own world One I've created in my mind The one I've always wanted to make a reality
I saw a bird, flying high above the clouds It was free as could be Singing as it made its way I watched admiringly as it soon perched its self on a nearby tree
I use to sit and wonder what my life will bring Will it bring joys? Will it bring love? Will I one day be happy? Or will it bring sorrow, pain and suffering?
As the days go by I can't help but wonder What is life really supposed to be? Is it to discover the new? To gather as much knowledge possible?
As the day comes to an end and night takes over I take the time to think of my life As I lay down in the grass I turn my view to the sky above
