Coven of the Moon
It's a day I'll never forget. No witch ever forgets the day she came into herself. It was like any other typical day. I worked on my chores and listened to Taylor Swift's new album. I was dusting the living room and trying to ensure I did it right, or my mom would make me do it again. Mom was cleaning the kitchen. She was the only one allowed to deep clean it because no one could do it the way she liked, and she said it was her happy place.

As We Walk
I sat under the big oak tree in our background as the sun kissed my brown skin. I loved days like this where the sky was a bright blue, and there were no clouds in sight. This tree is where my mother and father found me when I was five. I remember she and dad were worried and sobbed once they found me. They said I needed to let them know whenever I wanted to go somewhere.

3,000 Miles to Me
I have moved around a lot since college ended. When I graduated from college, I realized I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life. The career I had always dreamed about felt out of reach. So I convinced myself it wasn't worth it, and I wasn't smart enough.
