How to Be a Shipt Shopper
**This is not an ad, nor am I being paid to make this. This is a 100 percent honest review.** Making money is something all of us need to do, and some of us have to take up multiple jobs to avoid living paycheck to paycheck. I took up a delivery job with Shipt, an app where you do groceries for people and deliver them. I thought I'd try it out, and I sent in an application. I loved how extensive it was; it was mostly based around customer service, i.e., how would I respond to an item in the order being out of stock? What if the customer was not home, and I could not get a hold of him or her? It was a written, and also a video-submission, interview, and they got back to me within a week. They also conducted a background check, and functioned as your everyday delivery store company. They mailed my package (a shirt and a card), and when I reached out to customer service to confirm my address, they swiftly checked, responded, informed me of the confirmation, and were very nice and welcoming.
Is the Gender Pay Gap Real?
I have heard a lot about the gender pay gap for a while; women allegedly make 70 cents to a man's $1. I have heard this ploy for years and have always wondered where people get this crap.
Retired Soldier Denied Benefits for Medical Malpractice
Sgt. 1st Class Barbara Ospina, now retired, is paralyzed and kept to a wheelchair all day due to excruciating pain. What has caused such a thing to happen to this soldier, you may ask? Oh, it's quite simple—she had a spinal surgery in 2004 on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and they left her like this; instead of fixing the issue, they made it worse. She claims medical malpractice and now she went to the DVA (or Department of Veteran Affairs), and has requested payment for the suffering she deals with on a daily basis, and for the government to care for her caregiver that cares for her now. The DVA refused to accept her need for a caregiver, and now she has a lawyer and may be suing for her rights as a Veteran.
Many of us have heard the word "Bipolar," I believe. It comes from Bipolar Disorder, a Personality Disorder (definition: An ingrained behavior in which the person shows signs of such a thing by the adolescent period of their life; this may affect their relationships and role in society). There are three major Bipolar Disorders I would like to focus on for this chapter: Bipolar I Disorder, Bipolar II Disorder, and Cyclothymic Disorder.
Peter Pan Syndrome/Disorder
I'm pretty sure most of us know who Peter Pan is; the boy who could fly, and was sometimes shown with Tinker Bell at his side, the boy who lived but didn't grow up! Yeah, well that's NOT who i'm going to be writing about. This disorder actually can be related to how Peter Pan lives and who he is.
Eugenia Cooney's Return
We all know the face of Eugenia Cooney most likely-She's a youtube star in her early adult life (age: 24) that lives with her parents, whom her friends have equated her mother to being an awful mother. But since Eugenia has not spoken on this issue and has not outright said that her parents had any hand in worsening her disorder, there's no way to actually tell for sure.
Why You Should (Or Shouldn't) Go Vegan!!
Hiya! So I am someone who is currently going vegan and I wanted to make this article post for anyone who might be wanting to also go vegan, or is considering it. So, should you go vegan? Eh, no one but YOU can make that decision, so let's break down the pros and cons:
Eating Disorders are a big issue and they need to be talked about more; they are shoved under the rug while depression and anxiety are talked about a lot. Depression and anxiety are big issues, but eating disorders are also a huge issue that has rates of incline in the last few years.
