Biden Is Doing Fine.
Inflation and gas prices are up all over the planet, not just in the United States. The Trump Administration passed a huge corona virus bailout bill before the Biden Administration passed one as well, so if you blame government spending for inflation solely, both administrations share the blame, and certainly a gas pipeline that never was pumping gas is not to blame for anything. The reason everyone on the planet is experiencing paying higher prices for everything including gas, is because the entire planet temporarily shut down due to a MASSIVE WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC. You can't shut down a world economy and not expect to experience massive problems coming back online. Had Donald Trump been re-elected, he would be experiencing the exact same headaches that President Biden is currently experiencing. The Infrastructure Bill was a priority for the Trump Administration as well, and was long overdue and necessary, and has added to the woes of inflation.

The Fascinating Story Behind the Obscure Michael Jackson Song "Happy"
The song "Happy" was originally written by legendary Smokey Robinson, but was first released as a single by Bobby Darin in 1972. It would reach the number 67 spot on the Billboard charts in the United States as Darin's last single to chart. Robinson wrote the song for the film Lady Sings The Blues, but the song was never featured in the film or on the soundtrack album—although the official title of the song was "Happy (Love Theme from Lady Sings The Blues)." Michael Jackson recorded the song as a child in 1973, although the song is credited not only to Michael Jackson, but also to the Jackson 5. It was first released as a single in Australia and reached the number 31 spot on Billboard charts there, and it was later released in Great Britain where it reached the number 52 spot. It never charted in the United States, fading from obscurity in English speaking countries. Robinson's and Darin's versions of the song were—in my opinion very—uninspiring, but Michael Jackson's phenomenal version would help propel the song to worldwide acclaim in Latin American countries. (More on that later.)

Trump Is Hurting the Economy
Let's review the current situation. Paul Manafort, Donald Trump's campaign manager, was locked up in jail and has pleaded guilty to crimes and made a plea deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's office. Hillary Clinton is a respected former U. S. Secretary of State, U.S. Senator, and first lady. America is finally sobering up and facing reality. How many subpoenas were issued in the four year investigation into the Benghazi episode aimed at hurting Hillary Clinton's political chances? Zero, that's how many. How many subpoenas have been issued in the current FBI investigation into Russian collusion? There have been more than thirty issued, that's how many. Wake up America, Donald Trump is a train wreck, a political disaster who will be impeached. Let's all hope that happens soon, because don't underestimate his power to completely mess up this great economy. You can argue that he poured fuel on the fire to get the economy going even better than it was already going by advocating for and getting the tax cuts passed, but ever since then he has repeatedly done things to hamper the markets. He has done so repeatedly in the middle of the day with tweets threatening to impose tariffs on various nations. In fact, the man makes a comment almost every other day that kills the rising market gains for the day! The notion that Hillary Clinton would have hurt the stock market is RIDICULOUS. If you look at Dow gains during the first five hundred days of presidencies, Trump ranks behind Clinton, Bush, and Obama. The stock market was roaring for seven of the eight years under Obama, and Hillary Clinton was also promising a tax cut package, albeit it a much more responsible one. She also would not be saying things to suddenly give the markets jitters every other day.

2018 Will Be the Most Important Year in the History of Our Young Democratic Republic
A lot of America is hurting. Republican policies have shrunk the middle class, to the point where it really is almost nonexistent. It started with Ronald Reagan and "Trickle Down" economics, which America just fell for one more time, or rather, they will take the tax cut while things are going well. Deep down inside many are feeling uneasy about it. Sure, most of us will get a nice little tax cut, while really rich people and corporate America will get a HUGE tax cut, on the backs on hard working Americans. Trump argued during the campaign that the Obama economy was a "catastrophe" and now takes credit for every positive aspect of the now eight year long recovery, the one where President Obama was president for 7 years of. Heck, Trump took credit for the record stock market high a few days after he took office. Of course now as the markets are getting rocky and heading towards a Bear market, the man is silent. The man is a dangerous buffoon. The Republicans have dug in and are satisfied to try to control him as long as he keeps favorable poll numbers with the base, which he has, and as long as he doesn't become a complete political disaster, which he will be in the end. Hypocrisy knows no boundaries in the new Republican orthodoxy.

The Trump Fiasco Is All Richard Nixon's Fault
We really all should have seen the Trump Presidency coming. It has always been there, just underneath the surface of our lives, or really right in front of our faces. For those of us who grew up in the '70s and '80s, you could here it at parties whenever the subject of Watergate came up. There was always that push by many to argue that "President Nixon didn't do anything wrong that any other President didn't do as well. He just got caught." I must have heard that a thousand times. The problem is that he DID do something terribly wrong that no other President had ever done. He fired Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox in what has become known as "The Saturday Night Massacre" and tried to take over the F.B.I. in what would have become the end of our Republic as we knew it. Sound eerily familiar?

Joe Biden Will Be The Next President Of The United States
Joe Biden, with his Secret Service entourage in tow, appeared at my best friend's restaurant, Rocco's Italian Restaurant, in McLean, Virginia earlier this summer. He was gracious and charming, and chatted all the patrons up, and allowed them all to take pictures with him. Everybody was smitten with warm feelings towards Joe. It was just another day in the former Vice President's march towards the Presidency, something he felt he was born to do, and is now within his reach. Make no mistake, Joe Biden is going to run for the President next time around, and he will win. Many, including myself, wanted him to be the Democratic Nominee the last time around, but Hillary had locked up all the major party donors, and had laid a solid campaign network from her previous go around running against Barack Obama.

President Trump Is A Dangerous Narcissist Backed Into A Corner
Psychiatrists should be on TV every single day screaming at the top of their lungs about the extreme dangers of having an extreme narcissist as Commander in Chief of the United States of America. Narcissists can't be wrong. It exposes their deep-seated insecurities and fears. This is why Trump HAS to attack anyone who questions him in any capacity. Narcissists would rather take you down with them then to have you "win" any argument. This is what makes President Trump so dangerous. His entire ego was built on his constant exposure in the press all these years, and his ratings on the television show "The Apprentice." The daily meltdown that we are all witnessing was all too predictable. I have been calling out Donald Trump as a dangerous narcissist for over a year now, but even I was taken aback at his rambling narcissistic attack on The Free Press on Tuesday, August 22nd in Arizona.

The La's Released a Brilliant Record in 1990. Then They Vanished.
The La's are known best for their hit single, "There She Goes," a song that blew many musicians away with its cleverness and Beatle-influenced sound, and has been covered by many people, including Sixpence None The Richer and Robbie Williams. Oasis and Coldplay have both cited The La's as a major influence on their music and songwriting styles. Their lead singer, Lee Mavers is, and was, a very eccentric person. When they were initially signed by Go Disks, he kept insisting that the first album be re-done, and re-mixed, over and over again, so much so that the album producers finally gave up on him and the mixing sessions. They ended up releasing an album without the band's approval that was a mix of many sessions. Lee Mavers immediately declared that he hated the record, but reluctantly set out on a tour with his bandmates to support it.

Here Comes The Smear Campaign Against Al Gore
Now that former Vice President Al Gore has released his new film, AN INCONVENIENT SEQUEL: TRUTH TO POWER, we can all expect, and are already seeing, an all-out attack on his character and on global warming science. The fossil fuel industry is regurgitating old stories, such as the story recently posted by "Salon.com" that Al Gore's house uses 34 times the amount of electricity than the average American, and so this supposedly makes him out to be a huge hypocrite. Of course, Al Gore's house is not the size of the average American's home, and is powered by solar panels that were upgraded in response to criticism that came after the release of the first INCONVENIENT TRUTH, not to mention that this is an ancient attempt to smear the former Vice President that was used over a decade ago after the first film was released.
