Satisfying Cravings with Dominos: The World's Largest Pizza Delivery Company
History of Domino's
Domino's was founded in 1960 by Tom Monaghan and his brother, James, who purchased a small pizza store in Ypsilanti, Michigan. In the early years, the company struggled to compete with other pizza chains and almost went bankrupt. However, in 1965, Tom Monaghan purchased his brother's share of the business and began implementing changes that would help turn the company around. One of the most significant changes was to focus on delivering pizzas to customers, rather than just having them available for pickup. This strategy was hugely successful, and by the end of the 1970s, Domino's had become the fastest-growing pizza chain in the United States.
