Say No to Sugar Posers, Eat Real FruitTop Story - February 2019
Who wakes up refreshed and sails through a balanced day? No mood swings, no racing thoughts, no biting anxieties—only crystal clarity. Some of us are lucky enough to experience sporadic stretches of well-being, but it’s an ongoing struggle. A monster waits right around the corner, ready to pounce at the first whiff of weakness. We relapse. We beat ourselves up. A new cycle begins.

Santa Took Shrooms Top Story - November 2018
If you ever read fairy tales or played Super Mario before, then you've probably seen this red toadstool mushroom once or twice. However, you’ve probably never guessed that the Amenita Muscaria or Fly Agaric in English is where the very origins of Christmas stemmed from. From Santa's style, reindeer, bag of goodies, midnight flight, sleigh, the way we decorate our houses and even chimney-based entry into homes can all be tied back to the ancestral traditions of the Sami people from Finland—as well as other arctic circle dwellers.

False Vacuum TheoryTop Story - April 2018
Coming to the realization that there just might be a "start over" button for the entire universe can be pretty unnerving... not knowing for sure whether the physics we use in our world today are legitimate is even more terrifying. Yet here I am with another unproven theory. This one's about the evolving False Vacuum Theory.

I Just Want to Be Happy. Or Do I?Top Story - February 2018
As a society, we have accepted the belief that emotions disrupt rational thought, and any state other than happiness is a mental inconvenience or imbalance. This causes us to chase after pleasure, instant gratification and external validation instead of examining our inner world and what it is that we truly want. When something upsets us, we distract ourselves. We rarely face the issue and figure out a way to fix it.

How Our Subconscious Controls UsTop Story - December 2017
Theories of the unconscious mind varied widely between physiological groups, from the unconscious being a vault of traumatic memories, socially acceptable desires and painful emotions to the idea that the unconscious mind is merely a collection of the cognitive process that has no affect on our behavior and aren't aware of. Luckily, we now know through extensive research and a significant amount of proof that the unconscious mind is no less controlling, flexible, complex, action- oriented or deliberative that its coequal.

How Cannabis Saved My Skin
With all this new overwhelming information and results from all aspects of the cannabis plant, it's becoming pretty hard to ignore at this point. Although it is technically still federally illegal, people are finding amazing results—from curing severe to acute cancers of all types, treatment for glaucoma, controlling epileptic seizures, slowing progression of Alzheimer's disease, easing the pain of multiple sclerosis, treating inflammatory bowl disease, and helping veterans suffering from PTSD and depression. And this is just the tip of the iceberg! Cannabidiol can improve your life in plenty of ways! In this particular article, I wanted to focus mostly on cannabis' oil form, and more specifically, CBD oil.

10 Ways Cannabidiol Can Improve Your Life
When most people talk about cannabis strains, they like to talk about the levels of THC that each strain has. Truthfully, there are plenty of good reasons why people enjoy getting THC in their system — most notably, the high it gives you.

The Science of Belief
As a child, I grew up with a very confusing set of morals. On one side was my father, whose family had no belief in God or anything of the sort; on the other hand was my mother's family, who were extremely Christian and often self-loathing. From a very young age, I discovered that I hated church. My brother and I would walk out of the service to stop the bleeding in our ears from hearing some dude who was just as lost and confused as we were, but pretended to know the answers - and that nothing else should ever be questioned.

Top Alternate Universe Theories
For the longest time, alternate universes were just used as an excuse to have a new character, a weird plot line, or just a cool story in media. If you're like me, you've probably wondered what life would be like in an alternate universe, or if there's an alternate version of you somewhere in a parallel universe.

What is Consciousness?Top Story - August 2017
Perhaps one of the strangest mysteries of the universe is the question of how we became cognizant creatures. Being conscious is one of the bare-bone requirements of being alive, and yet, we still don't understand how it all came to be.

The Mysteries Surrounding Black Holes
Black holes are probably the strangest thing in existence. For many reasons, they don't seem to really make sense at all. Black holes are formed when a star stars, which in their core contains nuclear fusion crushing hydrogen atoms into helium, producing a mighty amount of energy. This energy pushes against gravity, maintaining a delicate balance between gravity and radiation. For stars much larger than our own sun, the heat and pressure at the core allows them to fuse heavier elements until eventually, they reach iron. Iron then builds up at the core until breaking the delicate balance, leading to the core callusing in on itself leading to a supernova explosion - resulting in a neutron star or if the star is gargantuan enough, a black hole.

Cannabis: The Miracle Plant
CBD or Cannabidiol is made from high-CBD, low-THC hemp; it's unlike medical marijuana products, which usually have a high concentration of psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol or THC. Although CBD may not make you "trippy," it's beneficial for the human body in other ways and is drastically more helpful than many of today's harsh, addiction fueling over the counter pills. A huge reason why CBD bonds so well with the body is because our bodies are already equipped with cannabis receptors.
