Maisey's Special Day
“Don’t think about it,” I tell myself, “just don’t think about it and you’ll be fine.” I have this notion that if I make it through today, I can forget and make it for the rest of my life. And for some reason, although it doesn’t make any sense, it is all that keeps me going.

Crumpet and Lemonade
*Disclaimer: This story is super not unique. Sometimes I try to give you a story that is totally cool, and other times I'm just like, "Why even try?" This is one of those "Why even try" stories. It's totally not cool. Or different. Or unique. It's literally just me making fun of other people. Which is what satire is. And it's really fun. :)

The Ugliest Mermaid in Altenie
"Every good man a better mother bred." Perhaps, Reader, you have heard this phrase before. It is a phrase which originated long before Theeran history books were written. It is a phrase which relays an entire story in very few words, as are most common phrases. But this story is unique to the sea. And today, I will disclose the story to you, that you may tell it to your children, and to your children's children, and if the Ruler bless you, to their children after that.

The Second Thoughts of the Great(ish) Mountain King
It all began one warm, summer day. The goblins were restless, he could tell that. What did they want? He’d given them everything they had asked for. All of their demands had been met. They had Shrip, and the army of dwarves that came with it. What more could they want? What more would they ask for?

So Much More
It is sweltering hot. The funny thing is, almost everyone around me is wearing a jacket. I am surrounded by children, only a few of whom actually speak my language. Which is fine. I am in their country, after all, and shouldn't expect them to know my language.
