Stick Shift is to Driving as Cursive is to Writing
My kid (the oldest) is turning 15 soon. I know most parents go through the freak-out stage at this point where it is sort of hard to fathom that this human used to be an adorable baby that grew so gradually that it felt like forever and everyone would always tell you enjoy this because it goes so fast and all you (me) do is just sit there and nod and say, yeah, whatever, I am suffering here and you don't seem to care...

4 Reasons to Groom Your Dog (And 5 Reasons to Hire a Groomer!)
It’s spring! And the pooches, have their fluffy masses of their winter fur coat that may or may not need, well I’ll just say it, a little attention. Maybe that ‘daily’ brushing of their luxurious locks didn’t exactly happen every day, or maybe there are just so rambunctious that their fur looks the same color as the ruts they have dug up in your backyard. The Big Texas Freeze 2021
We knew it was going to be cold. Really cold. We saw it coming in the 10 day forecast. How cold, we didn't know, but the distinct possibility of below 0F cold was starting to gain traction. I cancelled my daughter's birthday trail ride *again* (first time was because it was going to rain) because the weather on Saturday was going to be a high of 34. The prediction for the Monday low fluctuated between 0 and 9 in the days leading up to the weekend, and by Friday, Chris and I decided we had better go to Costco to stock up on some supplies to hunker down at home for the next 4-5 days. We tried to get firewood, but everywhere we looked, it was sold out. I guess this probably should have been my first clue, but it wasn't.
