Top 5 Tarantulas For Beginners
It's been a few years since I attended my first reptile expo but I will never forget the experience. At that point, I only had one snake (a ball python) and I was curious to check the place out and possibly buy some frozen mice for Dahlia. Up until then, it wasn't my plan to get any more pets. We already had 3 dogs, 4 cats and a snake. I was good.

Ball Python Care Sheet
The Ball Python is one of the most popular pets within the reptile enthusiast community. They are easy to care for, docile and beginner friendly! They come in array of beautiful patterns and colors, otherwise known as "morphs" and are overall intriguing creatures. Sometimes I would just sit there next to my python's feeding tank and watch her stalk her prey. I normally have a pretty short attention span (thanks ADHD) but I could seriously sit there and watch her for days.

Top 5 Dog Breeds For Active Lifestyles
I once made a comment to a dog walking client of mine about it being a win-win situation because of the fact that I walk dogs as a part time job. It gives me an opportunity to be more active while doing what I love. I don't generally consider myself an "active" person and I certainly can't keep up or stick with a strenuous workout routine. The only thing that's kept my butt moving is the fact that I get to spend time helping other people exercise their pups.

Best Teething Toys For Puppies
Congrats on your new puppy! Being a pet parent is one of the most joyful things you will get to experience. BUT along with those snuggles and wagging tails, comes the frustrating stage where they want to chew everything...and I do mean EVERYTHING. They want to bite your ankles, your fingers and your favorite shoes. Like human babies, puppies go through a teething stage and it can be quite painful for them (and you of course) so they try to relieve the pain by chewing.

Top 5 Family Dog Breeds.
Let's start off by saying this. Many breeds make great family dogs. It just depends on what you are looking for. Do you want a dog that is protective? Do you need a workout partner or do you want a dog that will gladly lounge around the house or apartment with you? These are some of the questions that you need to ask yourself before going about choosing a furry friend. It wouldn't make sense if you are an avid hiker or love the outdoors and then you decided you wanted a Bulldog. It also wouldn't make sense if you wanted to hang around the apartment all day and got a Siberian Husky.

Letter to my Abusive Ex
Hey. Remember me? I was the girl you said you loved more than anyone you have ever loved before. You loved me so much you drove me insane. You loved me so much you tossed me around like a rag doll, beat me, choked me and made me feel small. You made me feel invisible and like I was always the one in the wrong.

A Letter to My Little Sister
Dear Ale, It's crazy to think that the New Year is already quickly approaching. It actually kind of scares me if i'm being honest. I have already realized that time is starting to move very quickly and it's only getting worse. The thing is, how much faster can time pass? Is that really even possible?

Top 5 Reptiles For Beginners
I remember when I first ventured in to the reptile hobby, I only knew that I wanted a snake. I had never owned one and only knew that they ate mice. That was it. I didn't know what kind of snake I wanted nor did I know how to properly care for one. So, like anyone else that is new to the hobby, I went online and did some research. I went on youtube, I looked up several articles and I engulfed myself in all things "snakes". As time went on, I learned a lot about morphs, how often they ate and what kind of husbandry they required. As time went on, I was more and more fascinated by the different reptiles I was able to keep, researching on how to properly care for them and it eventually led me in to helping others pick out their first pet reptile. I really enjoyed (and still do) educating people on the topic. So here are my top 5 favorite reptiles to care for if you're a beginner. Enjoy!
