Soul's Mates
Chapter 3 As the last few oh-so amazing people were announced to take spots in the top twelve electees for the best government positions, everyone’s metal clipboard lit up and dinged. I looked down at mine and noticed my bank information on it. My account was already in the thousands, I lived at home with my dad for so long and was saving to get a decent place. But my bank account, now read half a million. I gawked as I continued to read the page, as it said I would be getting a monthly payment of fifty thousand for the entire year to cover any and all expenses. I looked at James, and his account was roughly the same, though he showed he was a few hundred thousand above me. Because of his already booming business.

Soul's Mates
Chapter 2 of Soul's Mates The Arena was call Centorium. It was the largest arena in the state of Missouri, after its conception just a few years ago. Thirty thousand it held. It was where most of the large events of the state were held. Just last year, it held the Olympics, with more than capacity in attendance. The streets were filled with people just to watch the screens outside displaying the action. Now, the screens were filled with commercials about finding your way in a new world.

Partridge and Nithe
Each morning was kissed by the swirling orange haze of the rising sun. It illuminated the dark mountain, and a gap in the rocks held a steady stream of light that centered on a small rock in a large glittering cave. The cave was home, to a small, but spritely little creature. It didn’t know how long it was in the vast cave with the little light. It knew it was green, dark green in the light. It had a long tail, one with spikes at the end that it played with often. It knew it had long claws, that clacked on the stone surface. Its tongue was long, it used it to clean itself and its long wings. It never knew what its face looked like, but it didn’t mind, every other bit of it was strong and shiny, so its face must have been too.
