A Feeling to Hold
Happiness. Who would have thought that such a word was so difficult to define. according to the oxford dictionary happiness is the state of being happy. okay….well what is happy? Besides an odd sounding word which is used to describe a feeling. In going back to the oxford dictionary the definition of happy is feeling or showing pleasure or contentment. Now if pleasure is defined as a feeling of happy satisfaction and enjoyment and contentment is defined as a state of happiness and satisfaction then is happiness not just a feeling felt at the end of something? So how do we hold on to a feeling that seems to be most prominent after we achieve some sort of goal. The feeling of happiness may be felt after helping another person with a simple act of kindness or doing drugs for some others. We are all such diverse creatures that the “what” of what makes us happy is too vast . What I want to know and hopefully share is the “how” of how do we hold on to a feeling that to most of us seems to be transient in nature.

A Handless Fan
HANDLESS FAN once upon a time in a land so far away , there lived a young boy who had no arms and no legs. HIs eyes were sewed shut and his tongue was cut out, what an awful thing when you cant see and cant shout. hen he needed some help, no one would come, for remember this boy, he was missing a tongue . The neighborhood children (as rude as they were) would douse him tar and roll him in fur, pointing and laughing, this boy is living his fear....why cant it be he was just missing his ears. rolling away the laughter goes on.....another day of his life, another day has gone wrong. Cry , he can not, and yelling sounds weird when your eyes are sewed shut and tongue disappeared . Say good bye to our friend, look at him roll! no voice, no vision ,no life, a poor soul. He rolled through the mud andhe rolled to his home then e rolled through the door of where he lived all alone. The quiet is nice (the laughter is distant).....no matter what flaws he has, he should never feel different.
