I am here to see how creative I can be :) Enjoy.
My first ever counselling session
I will never forget my first counselling session. After repetitive pleas from my friends to go, I finally booked an appointment. Even then, as I was booking, I was still skeptical. I had deluded myself into believing that I was supposed to do it all on my own, that I needed no help.
Force of the Unnatural
I ran, lungs stinging, feet aching, but I didn't stop. I couldn’t stop. I had to get away and I knew that they weren’t far off behind me. I wanted to cry but I knew that the tears would blur my vision and I couldn’t welcome any inconvenience at the moment.
A Brother and His Three Sisters
My sister and I never got along when we were little. We fought over anything and everything. The chores, TV remote, who would sit at the front seat when going out with her parents, who would get allowance first. Everything you could think of.
A Year and A Half
No pun intended, but I was totally shocked when I found out that I was supposed to be travelling alone to a foreign country to study. This happened when I was sixteen. I had graduated from school at fifteen and my mother didn’t want me to start university immediately because of my age, so we decided to keep me at home for a year.
The First and Last Tepia
The Tepia Festival is one of the most known festivals in my village. I’ve always wondered why and this year, I was finally going to find out. For some reason, if you were under the age of fifteen, you couldn’t know what the festival meant, nor would you be allowed to go.
