No Life Outside
The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. Kellek's Aria
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. I'll find out for sure in about thirty seconds if I don't get out of these cuffs. It's too bad these are the newer style with the wrist field grip, otherwise I could just dislocate a thumb and get one hand free. Fat chance of that working as long as the batteries last - which will be a lot longer than the few seconds I have left.

Unlost
Today is the day after armageddon, and I've decided to learn how to draw. It's not actually the day after armageddon, but I was trapped in the shelter until yesterday, so this is the first time I've actually witnessed It. I haven't seen any other people yet, only some insects and what might have been a gull in the distance, but it's hard to see inside many of the wrecked houses. Maybe they're hiding. Maybe scared. Probably dead.
