An Elder...or just...getting older?
In his book, Saturn Returns:Thinking Astrologically, author Tom Jacobs poses a very interesting idea, to be sure. It is not that he outright asks the question (because it really was not asked but was more of a statement) but that the question has been in my head since I read the passage - Do I want to Become Elder, or, am I just going to follow everyone else and just get older?

The Day I Chose to Survive
My friend might get upset with me using this picture but itʻs okay - she knows why I would post this in this article. It is the same reason that I have posted this picture for almost ten years now, as well as write a bunch of words about it.

HULA: The real stuff
I have danced Hula since I was a very small child. Me as a tiny little kid. 1976 The first time that I recall ever seeing it "live" was my mother dancing Hula in our living room in Covina. I was three years old. She was pregnant with my kid brother. It was summertime and she was uncomfortable most of the time but, when she cleaned the house she danced Hula with the vaccuum cleaner, and lots of times, without it.

WELLNESS - Cultivating Awareness in the body
I am a healer. Technically, I am a life coach. I would still call myself a life coach, given that I have all the pieces of paper that it takes to convince people that I actually know what I am doing (because another human being told me I was good enough....ugh) but there are too, too many people on this planet with that title.

Dear Pomona, California
This town, I know, has always been...like this. There have always been gangs, and there has always been a problem with transients from other parts of the country and world ... something about leaving their home state to either travel the country by foot, or, the usual - which is that a kid on the other side of the country was lured here to Southern California.
