Behind The Looking Glass
Behind The Looking Glass The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. While viewing the scenery of a cold wintery forest, Sara couldn’t help feeling shocked at what she’s witnessing. She stood motionless, helpless, sick to her stomach. She noticed men in uniform, lifeless in the snow. A lot of red staining on the snow. Even some body parts were blown and thrown all over the forest grounds. A scream from a woman was heard from a distance. Sara turned and saw a man attacking a young helpless girl. Sara couldn’t believe what she is seeing. She wanted to go and help but she couldn’t move. In minutes, the screams stopped; the soldier, laughing as he’s walking away, zipping up his trousers.

Maine getaway
Maine Getaway We drove up the snowy, winding road towards the cozy A-frame cabin. With such high anxiety and anticipation both my husband and I couldn’t wait for the fun to begin. Finally, reaching the driveway of our cabin. Wow…we couldn’t believe how big the cabin is in size. The advertisement picture of this place does no justice when you see it in person. I can’t wait to see the inside. Getting out of the car felt great, stretching my legs from a long drive now the challenging part, getting our luggage from the car and into the cabin. Yes, we brought a lot of things. At last, we made it to the front door. My husband has the key to unlock the door that is hiding the true beauty of what is inside. Yes, the magic key worked, the door opened, and our eyeballs popped out. Both of us yelled out. “Holy Cow! Look at this place. It was magnificent.”

Technology: The Next Level
Technology: The Next Level After I got home from running errands all morning, I decided to sit on my porch, drinking a cup of coffee with an enjoyable read. While reading my new book; the phone rang. I answered my phone, to my surprise; it was a friend from the past. Wow…I couldn’t believe it. I haven’t spoken to or seen Shirley in ten years. We go way…way back, like junior high school. We were on the phone for three hours. She ended the conversation letting me know that she sent me old pictures of us; I will be getting them by priority mail sometime today. I smiled on the thought of seeing pictures of us girls, teenagers, college students and so on.

So, he looked at his wife, she could see that the uneasiness is starting to mount up quickly. Prince Egon, quickly turned to his wife and asked. “Dear, What Forest are we strolling through?” Princess Emma replied. “I believe this forest is Phantom Grove. Isn’t this the forest we always ride through going to Earwig Kingdom and coming home as a short cut.” Her husband nodded in agreement. Silence overcame them both for a while. Then, Prince Egon realized something special about this forest and began to feel the uneasiness lift from him.

Holiday Turkey Went Missing
Holiday Turkey Went Missing Every year I always do the traditional turkey; and all the trimmings that go with the holiday season. My kitchen is always chaos when the holiday is here. I have food all over the kitchen and dogs on under my feet waiting for anything that falls on the floor. I always do the cooking alone. I like it that way for a reason. When someone says, “I want to help.” I start to cringe because I know what happens when too many people get involved with preparing Thanksgiving dinner. My husband and I are always in competition with each other with specific dishes. Who makes this or that better is always the topic. I must admit to one thing; my husband does make the best meat stuffing in our family, but I come out number one with everything else; I’m only speaking the truth. Plus, everybody who has Thanksgiving with my family can tell you that my traditional dishes are worth coming over to eat every year. Sorry I’m bosting but I can’t help it.

Kids Adventures
KIDS ADVENTURES It is June 10th on a Friday. Dad allowed me and my two brothers to sleep late this morning. When he finally woke us up; we quickly hurried downstairs, I could not believe my eyes. Dad did an amazing job on decorating our family room into a party room. Yes, it is my birthday. I turn twelve this year; the big one two. I do not feel a year older at all. I still feel like a kid. I am so excited for my birthday party; it is going to be a blast. All of mine and my brother’s friends too will be here.
