The "Stay" command is an essential part of dog training. It will make your dog more obedient and easier to control. It will be especially useful when you have guests over and don't want to get distracted. This command should be practiced first. After your dog has stayed for a few seconds, gradually increase the number of steps you take before rewarding him with affection.
