The Achievement (And Misstep) Of ZACK SNYDER'S JUSTICE LEAGUE
Well…that was unexpected. I’ve always been a fan of superhero movies, but didn’t have high expectations for Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Firstly, the director’s previous contributions to the genre, Man Of Steel and Batman v Superman, mostly didn’t work for me. And secondly, this is an alternative version of a 2017 theatrically released film that nearly put me to sleep.

Let's Talk About GODZILLA VS KONG...
You know, despite not being much of a Monster-Verse devotee, I was quite excited to see Godzilla vs. Kong. Firstly, the trailer looked great; especially that final shot in Hong Kong. And secondly, the box office numbers are surprisingly high for a movie released during a worldwide pandemic. Even though I elected to watch it on HBO Max, I reasoned that if Godzilla vs. Kong is doing this well, then there has to be something exceptional about it, right?

THE QUEEN'S GAMBIT Review: Victorious, Masterful, and Engaging
People generally don’t consider chess to be a sport (a category often reserved for more physical activities), so it’s not surprising that most viewers aren’t drawing comparisons between The Queen’s Gambit and classics such as Rocky or Raging Bull. Maybe it’s too soon to call it, but I think this miniseries will stand the test of time in similar fashion. As an avid chess player, I was very pleased with its cultural depiction of the game. And above all, I found The Queen’s Gambit to be an all-round engaging character piece.

4 Questions Regarding Fourth MATRIX Film
To be honest, I’ve always thought the Matrix trilogy ended on a satisfying note. Of course many viewers preferred the original as a standalone feature, but I was awe-struck by the scale and - dare I say - emotional weight of the sequels. Surprisingly though, we’re getting a new entry later this year, and I’ve got four burning questions.

Why STRANGER THINGS Is About To Get...Stranger
Still no release date? That’s been my burning question for the past several months regarding the fourth season of Stranger Things. The production team is currently filming in Atlanta, and the cast members are dropping more hints online as to what we can expect from the next chapter. Some of it is…jaw-dropping.

WEDDING CRASHERS - 16 Years Later
Looking back, can you think of any movie that continues to resonate years after initial release? In light of recent rumors regarding a potential sequel, I went back and rewatched Wedding Crashers. Simply put, all the comedy gags hold up just as well as they did back in 2005, and then some…
