Boy, Am I In Trouble
For the record, I'm not actually in Trouble. Aside from the fact that, due to the increasing housing market, I may never buy my Dream House; who am I kidding? That was never happening anyway. And, it's aside from the fact that Inflation is so high I Aint Gotta Dollar to my name. But rest assured, ladies and gentlemen—we will all Triumph. After all, Money Will Chase You.

I don't know what you're going through and I may never be able to understand. I know you can't put it into words or make sense of it all; that's okay because neither can I. So, let's let the music do the talking.

A World Unkown
I never thought one conversation could be so eye-opening. Justin, a local indigenous worker had made me realize what I was so blindly ignorant to. It was a culture shock. Watching a father and his son sled dog across a frozen Hudson’s Bay, with two foxes and a rabbit attached to their sled, rifle holstered at their waist. Oscar, our beautifully named Arctic Fox whose fur was scarred red by the dust of the iron they had been mining. I was so numb to my comfortable idolized society that I couldn’t appreciate the reality I live in. I had to come to my senses by stepping into a world unknown.

Jungle Cat, Leader of the Wolfpack
He wasn’t just our hockey coach, he was a role model, and he wanted us to call him “Jungle Cat”. He was known as “Jungle Cat” because he was fiercer than a lion, though he roamed with the wolves. His life was guided by the laws of the jungle. He used to tell us that “the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack,”, and we lived by those words. One glance at the Jungle Cat and you could tell his dampened wrinkly face was aged with years of wisdom. His crackly voice suggested he smoked multiple packs a day, but it was his constant shouting that had worn his voice down. He sounded like a dog without his voice box. Every day that season he would show up to the rink at 5:30 a.m. in his tracksuit, hat, and glasses and get straight to work. The rink was where he brought his hard hat, and lunch pail, and it was his office.

The Great Symphony of Indie Games
Not all games seek the approval of the mainstream media and rather than attaining to please a mass audience they set out to accomplish a more personal goal. These games aren’t AAA titles. they are independently developed by a single author or a small group of people without the help of funding from a publisher. They are known in the industry as Indie games, and they stand to push the limits of creativity by visiting unexplored boundaries. Indie games come in many forms and differing variety but the ones we will be exploring all have had a creative influence on how music intertwines with video games. Each of these games has set out to change what we know about music and video games

The Pursuit of Happiness
Pursue Happiness at all costs regardless of the risk - this is what I was told as a child. Chase your dreams, never let go of them and never let anyone tell you differently. This seed was planted in my mind at an impressionable age and little did I know it would impact me for the rest of my life. I don’t think my dad knew at that moment how much this saying would resonate with me, and how it would shape my life today. That saying became so meaningful to me I got it tattooed across my body because it is what I live and stand by. I feel body art signifies overcoming a defining point in your life, and to all the brave soles who shared their story, I applaud you for giving me the courage to share mine. Every meaningful piece of body art follows a worthwhile story, this is my tattoo - this is my story.
